For years, Ally Theodisius has suspected his “friends” have been humoring him to stay in his good graces—and his wallet—so when a No Pants Day breakfast ends in his humiliation, he finally takes a stand.

When model Bennie Arnold runs into Ally, his first impression is of a cute, adorably dimpled writer in dire need of a real friend. Bennie would be happy to fill the role. T

Adorable story and yes we get a bold chubby MC who is gorgeous deep down, loved Ally! Bennie the hunky model sees those dimples and is hooked with good reason, great chemistry and dialogue very enjoyable. A bit of conflict with Ally's atrocious money hungry friends they get whats coming to them though finally. My one complaint its too short I was not expecting it to end so soon......where was that beautiful romantic love scene on the beach that I was expecting "sniffs". Sequel desperate

The combination of absent parents, an chubby belly, and "friends" that spend his money and convince him it's his idea, have all led Ally (Aloysius Theodisius) to think very little of himself. Surrounded by money, Ally realizes once again that everything he has in his life has been bought, including his friends, who are all too happy to cheer him up by taking him on yet another extravagant vacation, one where he inevitably ends up only seeing them at the

A cute story about a wealthy chubby guy who cannot say no to his vulture friends. When a model tried to get to know him better, he thought it's part of his friends' plan to suck up to him by offering him a male prostitute.

This is a quirky story, although I'm not sure if the 'no-pants-day' element is necessary for the book.

A pure romantic comedy like it was long I haven't had the chance to read, my only complaint is that it was only a novella. I really hope the author will consider to revisit this pair, since they were sweet and cute.

Aloysious "Ally" is a sad rich guy; cute but not handsome, he was not lucky with the choice of friends, who are basically munching off him and treating him like a money spounge. Ally is so mistreated that he is no more able to see the good in him, and so of course is not able to under
Ally is a wealthy, lonely man doesn’t have any real friends. He’s had men who call themselves his friends, but Ally knows they’re just hanging around him for his money. They use his credit cards, stay at his mansion and leach off of him in any way they possibly can. One of Ally’s dreams is to become a published writer, but after his latest manuscript is turned down, he is beginning to believe this dream will never happen. When he asks his so-called friends their opinions about this unpublished w ...more

There is something to be said about the nerdy, chubby guy. Most of the time, they just don’t see what others do: how great they are. In the case of Ally, saddled by his very wealthy parents with the name Aloysius Theodisius, he puts up with incredibly ignorant, moocher friends so that he doesn’t have to be alone. His friends, Robbie in particular, are horrible hangers on. They use his credit cards to buy him hookers and then are surprised that he notice

A cute story about a top model who meets a chubby rich boy whose friends take advantage of him for his money. I liked that Bennie finally took measures to cut his friends off, even without Bennie's support but I did get a bit frustrated that Bennie was content to let Ally think he was a paid prostitute. I know he just wanted to have a low-key holiday, but Ally was super rich and had his own issues, he certainly wasn't going to capitalize on the fact that Bennie was famous. It was a sweet read th ...more

It was a cute story but kinna unsatisfying I wanted to see the 'friends' suffer a bit more! Also Ally was a little to doormatish(yes I know that's not a word) for my liking.
I absolutely loved this book. It was tongue and cheek as well as sweet and totally hot. It is a great short read to put a smile on your face. 4.5 stars

This is a cute story about a rich nerd who gets used by his ‘friends’ for his money and the gorgeous model who is interested only in him. With a few complications and misunderstandings at the core of it, it’s also a story about standing up for oneself and learning what real friendship and respect are all about.

Ally is too timid for his own good. He is lonely, and makes the mistake of believing the people who are around for his money are actually his friends. I felt really sorry for him and was s

Quite the daring book in my opinion, Bennie’s Wish is a romance different from the norm. The most unexpected thing about it was the very protagonist, or should I say his description. Ally is definitely not the usual stud; as a matter of fact he’s not so tall, chubby and bald. His only pros are his money, yes Ally is quite wealthy, and, I’ll quote Bennie here, his amazing green eyes and his two cute little dimples. It’s not to wonder Bennie fell for Ally, the latter is quite the cute t

Bennie, with his light brown skin and blue eyes, sounded so delicious (he reminded me a little of the lovely Jesse Williams on Grey's Anatomy). I admired Bennie's determination to pursue Ally (who was so cute with his chubbiness and dimples) and to get to know him better. Bennie was just what Ally needed to regain a little self-confidence after the upsetting treatment by his so-called friends. Those ass-wipes deserved something really humiliating and/or painful to happen to them for what they di ...more

2012 Review:

Completely adorable, funny and fuzzy-happy.

I just wish so much it had been much longer.
There are other books by this author too, but I believe they’re all short like this. Le sigh.

But it made me happy and that means a lot. <3

2014 Re-read:

Still sweet as candy. And yes, it's not long but just long enough to care about the characters and enjoy the happiness. Lovely!

3 stars. I really liked Bennie and his persistence! Ally has had a tough time and he hasn't been as successful as Bennie it being able to get rid of the deadwood sycophants around him. This was a very cute story getting together two guys who on the surface wouldn't appear to have much in common, but beneath the surface seem to fulfill a need the other has.

Good short m/m romance about a wealthy but wishy washy guy whose friends take shameless advantage of him and constantly put him down, so when a cute guy hits on him, he can't believe it's for real.

Cute story about poor little rich kid Ally and model Bennie!
It was sweet, but it really needed to be a tad bit longer for me to really get into it.

I hated Wish's friends. Hated them. Bennie and Wish were cute but it didn't make up for what seemed like a really mean spirited story in some parts.

Hm, I didn't really like this story. Ally was pathetic and I didn't like him. The plot is plain and bland, I didn't enjoy it.
