The Prince of Games is a prequel to a set of books that are not out yet. I think it was a good read and well written. The storyline was interesting and great descriptive words were used to keep the book fresh and interesting.

While this is not a book that I would normally pick out and read myself it was an interesting change from my normal book line up. This means that perhaps I didn’t find the book as entertaining and someone else might but it is definitely one I would recommend to others. I can...more

I'm not usually a reader of fantasy, but I found that once I started this novella, it was hard to put down. Fans of 'Lord of the Rings' will love it!
A couple of aspects I particularly liked were the inclusion of a female warrior - the Lady Elelluin, and also the muddying of the purity of the character of Prince Frey. I wish i could give this 2 and3/4 stars its better than 2 and just short of a 3!
I had to struggle through this. Not because it wasn't good, but because I had just re-read the entire Game of Thrones 5 book epic. It's hard not to compare books.
