Callie's heart is the most open and most giving. Kathleen Ball created a character that's impossible to dislike. From the moment I met Callie in Callie's Heart, book 1 in The Lasso Springs Series, I knew I'd be rooting for her. I cried for her sincerity in seemingly impossible situations. Not only did she have to deal with the darkest of doubts in her marriage, she had to deal with hard ranching and finding a place to call home.

This is the first contemporary weatern I've ever read and if this is an example of Kathleen's writing I can't, repeat can't, wait for her next book. She writes a story that kept me clicking to the next page on my Kindle.

A lovely book. Callie was very emotional and her multitude of feelings took you along with her on this roller-coaster of a romance. I particularly liked her jealous streak!

I enjoyed all the intrigue and was kept guessing about the underlying plot throughout the whole book.

The character descriptions are superb, though I had no idea that Garrett was fifteen years older than Callie until I was well into the book. It gave me a different perspective on why he couldn't get his head around the fact tha More...

I love Kathleen Ball's writing. Her descriptions and emotions in her work intrigued me, so I was looking forward to reading this book and I was not disappointed. I really enjoyed this book. I first read it on a website before it came out in e book. I liked it so much I finished reading it in a day and a half. When I heard it was going to be released in e book. I was very excited! Thankfully I won a copy. Now my only problem is I don't have the next in the series. The characters are very believable. Kathleen's story will pull on your heartstrings and keep you up turning pages just to finish it! She is a gifted story teller who has the ability to make you fall in love with her charcters and gives you insight into their plights. You will be glued to the pages waiting to find out what happens next! This is a great cowboy romance and if you love westerns and romance you should give it a read! Can't wait until her next book!

Kathleen Ball is an incredibly talented writer. Callie's Heart is a beautifully written story and you can't help but fall in love with the hunky hero, Garrett O'Neill. This novel will break your heart, make you cry, make you laugh, cheer Callie on, and ultimately leave you eager for the next great Kathleen Ball novel.

Kathleen Ball is an amazing author. This was a very well written tale that had me emotional from beginning to end. I would have loved to give Callie's Heart five stars, and would have, had it not been for the fact that I wanted to kick the hero's ass all the way through. I was rooting for Stamos..lol

I really loved this book. I have always enjoyed a good cowboy romance, and this was just perfect to fill the bill. I found myself laughing and crying with this one. If you like Linda Lael Miller or Diane Palmer, you will love this one.

A touching romance story that draws you in almost immediately its is hard not to love the main character Callie from the start. This was my first book to ever read written by Ms. Kathleen Ball and it will be the first of many I truely enjoyed the book and am glad to have had the chance to have read it.

I really liked this at the beginning but as the story went on, I began to dislike it more and more. There were just too many things that kept popping up and it just wasn't my favorite read.

A fantastic novel with characters you can't help but fall in love with. A page-turner!

Callie and Garrett's story is an unusual journey that ends in happily ever after. I really enjoyed the characters and the plot was filled with twists and turns.
