A few years ago I got really into Sex in the City. Not the books, the show. I like to tell myself that it’s because I adored Big and I just couldn’t wait for Carrie and him to get their shit together. The truth. I was fascinated by the casts brazen disregard for normal behavior, especially when it came to their sexual relationships.

See…I grew up in a tiny town, going to church every Sunday and NOT talking about sex, and the fact that this group of women didn’t bat and eye about flaunting their e
Let’s face it. If you know me, you’d know that Unfaithfully Yours is not the type of book I usually read. But when I poked around Indie Chick Lit to find out more about it, it got me interested. I mean, come on. Not many people will admit to cheating, much less write a memoir about it.

The author doesn’t delve straight into the cheating part. She shares about her bittersweet moments that leave an imprint on her heart.
I’m immensely glad I’m part of this tour (thank you, Julie!) because Unfaithful

I did think of Chelsea Handler when I read this book in regards to the sex but the author is truly...a bitch. What a great escapist piece of reading. Chrystal Rose has so many crazy girl's night out drinking stories that I was tired just reading them. She has multiple one-night stands and short term relationships while simultaneously stringing along her boyfriend / fiancé. I've suggested this release to several girlfriends and everyone is loving it. Whether you are in your early 20's like Chryst ...more

I wasn’t sure what to expect when I started reading this memoir. I hoped it would be funny. And I hoped it would be honest. Right from the start, I knew it would fulfill both.

Chrystal is not shy about exposing her own behavior, including lying and sexual exploits. Her writing is honest, raw, and she’s not afraid to drop an F bomb whenever she feels like it. For me, I enjoyed her style and found it engaging. While I didn’t approve of her cheating, I admired her ability to share about it. I didn’t

Unfaithfully Yours: Confessions of a Cheating Bitch
Grab a bottle of wine or Jack Daniels if you’ve got the stomach for it, curl up on your couch, and abandon yourself, just get lost in the story.

Pretend Chrystal's actually there with you. You’ll even hear her yelling “Hell no!” so many times, you’ll feel the flecks of spit flying your way. She writes, I assume, in the exact same way that she talks: openly, with animation and loaded with pure raw emotion.

Leave your judgment out the door, and just

I really enjoyed reading this book. It was funny, and I couldn’t get over the nicknames for guys she was with.

The writing style of Unfaithfully Yours reminded me of Chelsea Handler. I don’t read books like this often, but I couldn’t not read this book. Each section was titled appropriately. You know going in what type of book this will be. She shares her experience in trying to be faithful, and failing miserably. She also learns some pretty important things along the way about the men she choos

I won this book through Goodreads first reads.

This was a fascinating book. I couldn't decide if I liked Chrystal. She was a cheater, but she was very honest about it (although not to the person she was cheating on). It was interesting to read a book like this. I've read memoirs, but nothing like this one. There was a lot of swearing, and obviously a lot of sex, but that was part of what made it interesting.
This was a goodreads win for me. I cannot say enough good stuff about this book. You have to understand what goes through a gal's mind in some relationships to fully get this book. Chrystal Rose REALLY lays it all out there without holding back. Very funny moments as well as some serious moments. I really enjoyed reading this book!
