Ten years ago, Mira saved a young man from drowning. When they meet again--at a local BDSM club--Mira is flustered, and captivated, by his quietly dominant personality. Hesitant to trust her feelings and reveal her secrets, she pretends she’s only there on a friend’s dare. She soon regrets her lie as their attraction ignites.

What does a cop and an after-school coordinator for troubled youth have in common? Well, more than just their love of kinky sex? They have similar past pain with their mothers. I'm not a fan of stories where the characters' traumatized past leads them into BDSM. This story, fortunately has none of that involved.

Instead, this is a story of two people who have survived the pains they have experienced. They still have some reservations when it comes to a relationship, but as far as BDSM goes, they

I enjoyed this one, but it almost felt like a "slice of life" story as opposed to a start-to-finish story.

We start with Mira investigating the BDSM scene again after two more or less failed attempts. The first guy used BDSM to excuse his abusive tendencies. The second one was a switch who wanted someone to top him sometimes, but Mira was not that person. She's about to leave when she bumps into a guy. A guy who she happened to save from drowning about ten years before. He always remembered "his

His Angel is a spicy-hot, sexy read with a wallop of romantic love thrown in. I loved everything about this erotic short--the characters were believable with their strengths and insecurities, the story moved at a quick clip through their relationship, and the sex scenes were gritty, realistic, and very sensual. The author is exceptional with her literary style and His Angel reads like an Anais Nin (with modern-day language).

I will definitely be reading more of Celia Juliano's stories!

This was an amazing read. Love that it explores the feelings of Mia, but I would have liked to hear the feelings of Jim. Very interesting short read. Love the story, but I wish it was longer.

This was a decent read, I think I would have liked it more if it were a full length novel. It is part of a series, and I do plan to read more. It would be nice to get to see these characters again.

I really enjoyed His Angel and I highly recommend this book to anyone that enjoys an erotic romance. Both Mia and Jim were great characters and even though the book was short, I thought the characters were believable. It was a nice story with some ups and downs, but a great HEA. I will be looking for further books from this author. I received this book from the author for review.

I've read several of Celia Juliano's books. They are sexy and romantic and fun reads. This one was just not for me. Too over the top with the sex and kinky mixed together. Not my cup of tea. Just because I didn't like this one doesn't mean I won't continue to enjoy Juliano's novels. She an amazing writer....just this one was not for me!

Celia Juliano learned to read at the age of two, beginning her lifetime love of books, especially those with a happily ever after. She grew up believing in fairies, angels, Santa Claus, and the true love of an Italian prince. Now she writes about everyday angels and Italian American men…as well as other stories of relationships, minor miracles, and happy endings. A native Californian, she lives in ...more
