In all the Manga I've read so far, the hero always wears goggles hanging around his neck. That's how you know he's the hero.
Cello said "My brother wears old fashioned goggles like that."
I said "Does he leave them hanging around his neck all the time?"
"No."
"Then he's not the hero."
He says "But he's in the military and everything"
Unfortunately, No. He's still not our guy. The hero's goggles must serve some purpose but it's definitely not to cover the eyes.

Well there you have it :)

This is one of my absolute favourite worlds that Syaoran and company find themselves in. Syaoran and Kurogane become kiji (demon) hunters, while Fye and Sakura start a cafe.

The humour in this volume is fantastic. Fye's choice of names infuriates Kurogane to no end, and it's just hilarious watching them converse. Syaoran and Sakura are also so cute the way they get confused about things or try to stay out of little tiffs between Kurogane and Fye.

The plot is also getting more interesting. Why are...more

This series continues to be enjoyable, but not a lot happens in it so far other than Syaoran and company continuing to travel to different worlds collecting the powerful feathers that contain Sakura's memories. In the current country of Oto, they battle demons to make money, and Syaoran's former fighting teacher turns out to be controlling some of the demons(?) Not a terribly eventful volume, although I'm looking forward to seeing how Syaoran handles a sword after training with a blindfold (this...more

Too awesome. I'm so glad I decided to give this one a chance while I read xxxHolic- The whole chocolate fiasco with Watanuki and Doumeki takes place at this time- so it was fun to see what happened in this dimension at the same time. Kurogane was right! That chocolate wasn't free! Yuuko was trying to get gifts from them. Fai and Kurogane now rank among my top favorite characters of all time, even though they're complete opposites. I loved the whole drinking party bit, boy, talk about some bad "p...more

This volume is one of my favourite of the series, because I really enjoy the story plot in Ohto Country. Syaoran, Kurogane, Fai, Sakura and Mokona seemed to enjoy their daily live there and had developed some family kind relationship, with Kurogane as strict but responsible father, Mokona, Syaoran and Sakura as siblings, and Fai as easy going mother? LOL :D

Unfamiliar spin off : Ryu Oh and Souma from RG Veda, and Seishiro of Tokyo Babilon and X, who taught Syaoran martial arts

Although the ending confused me, it was soon explained, and now, I can't wait to read volume 7!
The new enemy, the Oni that are getting stranger and are being controlled by a mysterious being, Sakura's developing feelings for Syaoran, the truth about Fai-san's fighting techniques.. Big volume! And only getting better! :D I bet all the fight scenes are even more impressive in the anime, though ^_^

I'm happy to see this is taking on a more coherent and continuous narrative, rather than the episodic plot that each volume had. This seems to be building on itself more as the story progresses, which was really my main issue when I was starting this series. Interesting to see Seishiro show up in here, too--I always did enjoy the Tokyo Babylon and X/1999 universe.

The sixth book in the Tsubasa series. A very exciting read, filled with action, character development, and great art. Includes characters from past series like Clover, Magic Knights Rayearth, x/1999, Angelic Layer, RG Veda and more!

Perception vs reality in Oto. Time to find swords. A trip to Clover for info and drinkies. What's with the Oni and can an old sensei be trusted?

for some reason i really liked the art in this volume, but what earnt it 4 stars was the entrance of Seishiro. presumably Subaru cannot be too far behind. i blame the early influence of Tokyo Babylon.

I should never have told myself "Eh, everyone loves Tsubasa, I'm gonna sit over here appreciating xxxholic and looking down my nose." Tsubasa is just as wonderful (and honestly, more immediately satisfying).

Oh my, the drinking binge was hilarious! Fye and Sakura mewling and Shaolan wanting to fight a chair with a spoon. And Kurogane's "I will kill you all!" look. Ha! I laughed out loud, it was that funny!

Its do wonderful because is about a guy Syaoran and this girl named Sakura. They loved each other and they are traveling with these two guys named Fai and Kurogane. Its a wonderful story.

I'm glad to see we're spending more time in Oto, and there's a little more background about Kurogane's and Fai's personality. And the drunk scene was a little adorable.
