Have you ever read a book and felt, if only there was a little more to it? I must admit,M.S. Fowle, is one of those writers who knows how to say a lot in a very few words, making you ask for more. Yes, Nora's Sun does not take more than an hour to read but it definitely leaves an impact.

What would you do if the person whom you love the most is taken away from you? True, that's not even a question to be asked. The strength that begins to flow within you tends to leave you surprised too. And you t...more

I was pleasantly surprised by this short story. It is an exciting sci-fi adventure that keeps you on the edge throughout. Very finely written, it sure is a fantastic effort by the author.

The story is about a mother's search for her son, who is taken away from her. With the help of friends she embarks on a thrilling search behind enemy lines to find him. She in fact finds more than she had thought she ever would.

Thoroughly enjoyable. Very interesting story. Would recommend it to others too.

I literally read this in a day once I started i couldn't put it down other for the hours when work forced me to. Reminescent of H.G Wells War of the Worlds this post-apocalyptic is captivatingly written. It is not merely a men vs monsters story (although in this case woman vs monster) it is also a tribute to motherhood. The question of how far a mother will go to save her family when all she loves is ripped from her grasp. i would recommend this book whole heartedly the writing is exceptional

I got this free on my Nook and I have to admit that for a short story, I was pretty sucked in. At times, it read a bit confusingly, but continuing on, the story came together. At first, Nora's Sun came off a bit like Meyer's The Host (which I did not finish and will not read),but the plot was interesting and it did not leave the reader feeling as though there was any unfinished business. Fowle gave enough for a short story to be good, especially for a reader not familiar with her work.

This is a fantastic science fiction story about Nora, a no-nonsense woman on a mission to find her son. She is lucky to have the companionship of Jules and Gordon, a husband and wife team, to accompany her on this adventure.

Action-packed and suspenseful, this story exceeded my expectations. The storyline was clever, and I love the world that M.S. Fowle created. I highly recommend this to any scifi or short story fans.
