The sequel to Alice Parker's Metamorphosis, Alice Parker and the Mind Magician still contained every magical bit I loved in the first book, with the same adorable, smart characters I loved!

I'm not too sure what to say in this review, actually. Everything I said

This is a fantastic story for children both large and small! I hope I shall always be a child at heart and continue to enjoy such wonderful stories as this one. There is something uplifting in this story, I feel that it would not only teach children about right and wrong but also that it is not always black and white. I came away with a strong impression that you should not judge others and neither should you judge someone by those they are related to or friendly with.

I thought this book was bri

When the people in school start behaving strangely, Alice Parker realises that it's all down to a Sinwip plot with far reaching consequences. Can Alice and her friends once again save her Finwip brethren, as well as the world?

Picking up a short time after the events in book one, Nicola Palmer successfully continues the epic adventures of thirteen year old Alice Parker. Finally settling down into life as a Finwip, it's not long before Alice is faced with her toughest challenge yet; the menacing "

The author gave me a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Alice Parker and the Mind Magician continues with the strengths of Alice Parker's Metamorphosis. The characters feel very genuine, and I am entirely convinced that by the setting, a small English village. In comics, the first issue, and the first movie version, always focus on the "origin story," which means how the hero or heroine gained superpowers and decided to fight crime. Once this work is completed, future stories can

I received a copy of this book from the author in return for an honest review.

This is the second book in the Alice Parker's Adventures series. I completely and absolutely LOVED it.

Alice Parker is a very special 13 year old girl. She has a secret: she's a Fully Integrated Winged Person (Finwip for short). She is distantly related to Woodland Folk mentioned in fairy tales, and has unique wings that make her special, even in Finwip society.
She is a very likeable character; she is stub

What a wonderful continuation into the life of a not so average 13 year old girl named Alice! Once again the Author has created a story that will have you entertained from the very first pages as you enter a world of make believe via a door in a tree. The character development continues and we even meet a few new ones who help to round out the story nicely! Definitely a great book for the Young Adult - Tweens as they follow Alice into the

In Book 1 of the Alice Parker series (Alice Parker's Metamorphosis), Alice discovers she is a Finwip (fully integrated winged person) and not a normal human. In book 2, Alice notices that all of her classmates (non-Finwip humans) are acting weird. Alice only notices it because she seems to be immune to whatever is going on. Soon Alice discovers that an evil force is controlling the minds of her classmates and the control is spreading. It is up to Alice, her best friend Sarah, classmate Seb, and ...more

I love this series, and I love the adventure Alice in this story.

Book 2 takes place a few months after book 1 and picks up right where book 1 left off.
Alice has now come to terms with her abilites, but is worried that Hugh might know what she is and boy is she correct on that. Hugh is a very dangerous man especially being related to Brian Rowbottom.

Hugh has powers of his own and instead of using them for good he instead uses them for evil. Hence Ali

The second book in the Alice Parker series picks up a few months after the events of the first book, but the transition is done well enough that readers pick up on the storyline without skipping a beat. It quickly becomes apparent that the trials Alice is going to face in this sequel are even darker and more dangerous than the hurdles she overcame in the first book.

As the title suggests, much of this book’s battles are waged in the human mind, a very dangerous and disturbing scenario. Without ge

I was given this book in return for an honest review. A few months after that last book ended, is where this book takes off. Alice is back and better than ever, she is learning to deal with her powers, she still has her bestie and of course her brother, Thomas by her side. In this book she will come against as whole different kind of evil. A magician bent on using mind control to take over everything. Alice and Thomas, both Finwips(kind of a fairie descendant with wings) who is coming into his ...more

First, I have to say that I read this book without first reading the first book in the series. I recommend to start with the first book, though even if everything is clearly explained in the first chapters of this one because the path about the background even is a bit fast which works perfectly for a series.
It was a nice story to read and I really liked most of the characters. The villain is evil, but I managed to still find him kind of creepy-cute. He is not as well developed as the main char

I was given an e-copy of the book from the author in exchange for my honest review.

This is the second book in the Alice Parker Series. Alice is beginning to learn how to juggle her normal life and her secret life. If things weren't already strange enough, people are acting stranger and weirder things are starting to happen all around. There is a new villain at large with plans to magically take over the world. Alice and her family/friends in the hidden village must put a stop to all the madness

Alice Parker, her brother Thomas and her friend Sarah notice that children at their school are being manipulated by a novelty toy which emits a green light. Their school is also given some strange e-readers which control those who read them - including teachers. Alice grows suspicious and investigates.

This is the second in the Alice Parker series and I bought a boxed set of books 1 - 3 after buying the first. I didn’t find this story quite as compelling as the first but I’ve started the third a

Another great read in this Alice Parker series. I completed this one in one sitting as I could not put it down.
Yes, it is a kids book but I am an adult and thoroughly enjoyed it. I love the Finwips and love to hate the Sinwips. Am looking forward to continuing their story in the next book.
