Okay there are serious spoilers in this review. Highlander spoilers, Fever Spoliers, you name it. It's a spoiler festival complete with elephant ears and corn dogs.

So I was watching this movie one time, it had The Rock in it, so you can guess it wasn't an Oscar winner. But, it was one of those treasure hunting type movies. And to find the map, they found three pieces of a map and were having a hard time trying to see how they fit together, blah, blah, blah ....Until! The Rock, the genius that he...more

After reading the Fever series by this same author, I was excited to read this one, but I was disappointed. They weren't bad books, but they were just okay for me. They all pretty much followed the same formula of early 20s virgin spunky heroine + time travel of some sort + kilt wearing alpha male + multiple erotic scenes (with some crude language) + miscellaneous mystery/thriller aspect thrown in so they aren't simply erotica. I'm no prude, but even I like a little more to my romances than thes...more

These are the sexiest books you'll ever read! Honestly, they wake a part of your Libido that you never knew slumbered! What I love about these books is not only do they make you feel 'happy', if you know what I mean, but they are such beautiful love stories! They're the type of love stories that make you want to sing and dance for love so precious, but most of all they inspire hope that no matter how long you wait and pray for your true love, you're hopes will not be in vain cause everyone finds...more

This was the first time I had re-read this series since having read the fever series.
I totally forgot how she pretty much set up the entire fever series in these books (especially the last half of the series). You can really sense in this series where Karen is making the shift away from stand alone romance novels to the richly layered and complex world where the fever/iced series takes place. I think I might have to re-read the fever series now.
As always, I adore this series and anything Karen...more

I read this series after theFever series. I fell in love with the historical elements and the lore elements; lest not forget some serious alpha males. The writing was well done, love scenes not cheesy & the females weren't weak. They were all pretty well predictable and insecure while still being relatively confident outwardly. Loved how the series revisited characters

I loved this series. It was sexy, funny original I loved the twins, and Adam the most. I think...well I know that my only problem was that the stories were somewhat redundant. Why do all your female leads HAVE TO be insecure virgins?!?? I was so sick of it towards the end. Idk did anyone else see that pattern?

I read the Fever Series from this author long before I came across this one. Even though it isn't necessary to read the Highlander Series first, a lot of questions are answered by first knowing the backstory on some of the characters.

I loved this series so much. I read this series after falling in love with the fever series and I am sad to have finished it. They are great, not to mention steamy stories which keep you captivated. I completely fell in love with Scotland through these stories. Another great read Ms Moning - you officially have another addicted fan

these were EXACTLY what I assumed them to be . . . pure romance novels, which really isn't my cup of tea. BUT, having said that, they were fun and for what they were, they were written well.

Again... just get this book with all 7 stories in, trust me! You do not want to wait and hunt down each book. Yeah, they are just that good.
