Do not judge this book by its cover! Jaidyn was a great character and once he met the tortured cat shifter Leydan, the story picks up. Hell, it gets downright entertaining! I love the leopard spots around his privates, sexy and unique. This story had such fantastic characters and world building. The ending was a fantastic mix of adventure and romance.

The Cat the Vampire Dragged in is a solid four stars that I definitely recommend reading!

A delightful series from an Australian author. I look forward to watching her grow.

If you like Stephani Hecht or Amber Kell, then you should enjoy these stories.

Of course, being an Aussie myself, and from South Australia, I may be a little biased.

Disagree with Mandy M about the length of the book - it's a short novel (not a short story!). I loved Astrid Cooper's, The Cat the Vampire Dragged In - it was fun, clever and a good read. I recommended it!
MandyM
A short story with a lot of characters and plot left over from previous books in this setting. Didn't really strike any sparks for me but the set-up of the business, Monsters InK is fun.

Have you ever seen a drunk bumblebee???

This story reminds me of one. Its like the authors imagination flitted from one topic to another. The story was often confusing but still charming. I enjoyed it but I feel bemused lol
