I really loved Impulse and it earned every one of the five stars I rated it. I feel this book is so different from the first two. The books are maturing as are the characters. This was by far my favorite so far.

Silver can't seem to go five minutes without getting herself into some kind of trouble. There are times in this series that I get annoyed with her for her immature actions or attitude. But, I have to remind myself that in the life of a Mage, where most are literally hundreds of years old,
Silver is living in Cognito with her Ghuardian, Justus. She is obviously falling madly in love with Logan (any alpha loving female couldn’t help herself- LOGAN IS YUMMY). She is offered a position by the Mageri for her excellent abilities (hence her new body guard Christian the vampire). But Breed keep attacking her and she’s getting really tired of being the target.

Justin, Silver and Simon find a mystery box that contains secrets that just might destroy Silver. Some will do anything to possess

Dannika Dark hit it out of the park with this third installment of the Mageri series. The plot is continuing to flow and moving in new and totally surprising directions; ones that were not readily apparent and so came as wonderful surprises.

The characters are continuing to evolve in a completely believable manner.....nothing seems forced or awkward. I'm even more in love with Justus now than I have been for the past 2 books ;-) Silver's evolution is incredible from physical, mental, emotional a
New mysteries, and more dangerous situations for Silver. Also lots of romance, and some important decisions to made. I especially loved the final paragraph with Silver and her Ghuardian!

Impulse is a very apt name for the third book in the Mageri series! We get to know more about Silver, her birth, her childhood, and why she is sometimes not doing what her impulse is telling her to do! We also get to know a lot more a
I highly recommend this series. Loved 'Impulse', the 3rd book in this series which just gets better and better. Dannika Dark does such a great job with character development. She's created an interesting believable world and characters that you want to hang out with, and learn more and more about.

There's a fairly large cast of characters, all interesting. Aside from the 4-5 lead characters, some of the secondary characters have pretty significant roles too. All handled so well, you can picture
I loved books one and two of this series but in this case the third was not the charm! There were far too many hot/cold moments relating to Silvers feelings towards Logan and frankly I grew very weary over them. Anticipation is a glorious thing until it crosses a line into ridiculous! This play of hot/cold crossed that line near the beginning of Impulse and went so far past it that **spoiler alert** when the two did finally hook up – it didn’t really mean much. In fact Silver still didn’t seem t ...more

What a glorious read! Sterling and Twist were so great. But in my opinion, Impulse blew them out of the water! The characters are changing and growing. It was great to be able to get a little more background one character in particular. I laughed, I cried, my heart broke, my heart soared! I didn't think I could love the characters in this book more than I already did, but I find myself loving them even more. Dannika Dark hit a serious home run with this book! I can't wait for the next one to see ...more
Dannika takes on another wild ride in this tale. Silver is just getting ready to "celebrate" her first birthday as a mage. She's got a great guy named Logan Cross, and she is surround by people who care about her for the first time in her life. But that doesn't mean life is simple. Oh no. Nero is still out to get her. Silver also learns who she really is and what that means for her future.

So much to talk about. But I can't because I don't want to spoil this series. After two weeks you should ha

There are some authors that change your life through the pages of their books. For me, Dannika Dark is THE ONE. It started with Sterling, grew with Twist, and has utterly swept me away with Impulse. I suffered 24 hrs of post Impulse after-glow!

I had to take time after finishing Impulse before writing this so that my whole review wasn't "OHMYGAWD!!!!!!"... but OHMYGAWD lol this book was in a word; hot! No... hott, its hottness can't be contained in one T.

loved it!!! I am so glad that the book is a bit longer.
I loved that Silver and Logan got closer.

Logan *sigh* was amazing in this book. The way that he puts himself out there for Silver....sigh.

We learn more about Justus, which I like (spoiler!! : maybe Justus and Page can get together?? I'd LOVE to see that)

It was a little off-putting for me cause I was tired of all the testosterone around Silver.
I do like Christian but I hope the author doesn't make him fall fo

“You see, you don't know what life is going to deal you, but you have to learn how to deal with life. Fuck rolling with the punches -learn to punch back.”

This series just gets better and better by the book, I'm absolutely in thrall, LOVE IT!! Full of action, suspense, surprises & amazing characters. Silver & her totally screwed up life just breaks my heart, this girl just cannot catch a break. Every time something good happens in her life it ends in disaster. And Adam, I wont say why b

Right now all I can say is Wow! Absolutely Awesome :)

The long awaited third book of the Mageri Series was phenomenal. I hate to think I have to wait again for book four. Impulse was so different than Sterling and Twist. Dannika gave so much more attention to her other characters such as Adam, Novis, Logan and Justus. The Mageri series has evolved so much since the first book Sterling. It began with such a simple story of a girl who was involuntarily changed into a Mage. Each book since Dannika h

Impulse by Dannika Dark has taken this series to new levels. Dannika Dark has taken her love of her craft and made it her own, leaving lasting impressions! I was delighted by how Dark transported us in this series. Silver and Logan are HAWT, driving this series to new heights and making fans fall in love with all things Logan. Impulse gives readers answers to lingering questions from as far back as book one, Sterling. The true delight in this series is that Dark has created a world new and uniqu ...more

This was great. Loved it. Looking forward to next one. This one lacked the action that the last two had. But we got some answers in this one. Silver went through some serious stuff this time, didn't think she would recover. But of Course, my girl did. Love the dynamic b/w Logan and Silver. Move over Simon, Christian rocks. Love Christian Poe and Silver's banter. I think he might be enamored with her. Can't tell, but definitely would like to find out. Can it really work out between Logan and Silv
After waiting what seems like forever, I finally got my hands on the third book in the Mageri series. Impulse was a very emotional read and a rollercoaster of action. At times I felt quite overwhelmed and actually put the book down and came back later. Not because it was bad, but at times you need time to process information.

This is one of my favourite series and I can't wait for book four to come out. Another book (not the Mageri series) by author Dannika Dark will be available next month and
In book 3 of this series, Silver is still fighting the 'double standards' of her new world, still in love with her 'enemy'...bad boy Logan, one hot guy! Then there is Adam, sigh. Even Justus has become even more awesome! Silver??? Love her guts and snark! ALL of the characters have grown, become more mature, dimensional. You learn so much more about how they came to be the way they are. This is a 'must read' for paranormal lovers!

Well it's no surprise that I loved this book! I breezed through this book in a day. I have basically read this series back to back. I absolutely love the character Justus so I was thrilled we got to learn more about him in this book. LOGAN! Talk about HOT! This book was just as action packed as the rest and I look forward to the next one...ever so patiently...OK maybe not it out yet?
I am no use at writing reviews but I have to say that I love the world that Dannika has created is utterly compelling, I get a true sense of loss every time I finish one of her books and itch for the next one to come out. All I can say is just read each one of these books in the series, you will not be disappointed
that ending was so damn sweet, and God I LOVE Justus. and so matter how obnoxious Christian may seem,I really like him; he's hilarious. Logan is adorable and kind and all sorts of yummy. I was just disappointed with where Adam is going. the book is awesome; the plot is packed and the characters are great.
great great ;)
So much happened in this book I feel like it was so much more!
Everyone who told me this book was better than the last wasn't lying. It's pretty damn amazing!
Silver has really grown on me as a character. Although she's still very impulsive and can be a little abrasive she's become more mature. I forget that she was 29 when she was changed because she acts a lot younger than someone her age. Her lack of restraint makes her seem much younger and child like.
My heart broke for Adam and I miss his i
Well Dannika has done it again. Impulse was amazing. So much went on. Action, suspense, romance, etc. It was heart-warming and fast paced at the same time. I really loved it.

Silver is growing into her own powers as a Mage. We find out some few surprises and shocking revelations.

Justus has more of a stronger role here. I'm glad we find out more of his history and why he's like he is. You really got to know Justus and who the love of his life was. It totally explains why Justus is how he is and wh
Great 3rd addition to this series! Silver is one of my favorite urban fantasy characters because of her spunk and her heart. Her stubbornness can be really annoying at times - like when she should just choose Logan whom she clearly loves! - but it is part of who she is. And perfect characters would be even more annoying.

Logan is my favorite male character in the book and I wish that Silver would just choose him already - he has proven consistently that he is worthy. I would be devastated if she

I read "Sterling" (bk #1) and "Twist" (bk #2) in the Mageri Series back to back and had to suffer the wait for "Impulse" the third installment. Definitely worth the wait! Dannika has outdone herself. Each book was better than the previous one and "Impulse" was fantastic!!

I've said it before, with the Mageri series, its a bit difficult to write a review without spilling the beans. Its such an awesome series, you want to share spec
What started out as what I would call a strictly Urban Fantasy series, book three in the Mageri series has become a hybrid of sorts. Dannika Dark balances the action and mystery of a traditional UF with a romantic storyline featuring a hero that if HE doesn’t make your toes curl, I need to check you for a pulse.

This is one series you want to read all the books in order. At the heart of this series is the evolution of Silver into the world of Breed and what she has become. To fully appreciate the

I have been anticipating the release of Impulse for months and the wait was well worth it! Impulse is Dannika Dark’s third installment in the Mageri series and it’s just a brilliant as the previous two! In Impulse, the reader is provided with a lot of character development, some back stories and, lets not forget, a couple of new and exciting characters.

In book 2, Twist, we were left wondering where the relationship between Logan and Silver was headed. *Mini Spoiler Alert* Hold on to your e
