80 pages in and I'm still waiting for the D/s elements of the books to move beyond talk. The beginning of this is confusing as hell. Essentially the blurb is the main source of backstory...I tried but I'm bailing; this was so passionless. Maybe I'll pick it up again later when I'm feeling less cynical. Not a good read at all. :/

Playing Doctor by Frances Stockton is not part of a series, but characters from Quarterback Blitz, Ink Master, and Field of Play do make an appearance in this book. I choose this book because I wanted to read Alex’s story.

As much as I wanted to give this book 2, or even a single star, I just couldn't. While the writing style in all books in this series hasn't been the greatest, especially in the erotic portions, this one just about drove me crazy. However, my adoration for Alex kept me from giving his book any less than the rest. Yes, I know, I'm odd.
