When Ren sees the new transfer student—Shin, black hair, storm-cloud-gray eyes, and more beautiful than any guy had a right to be—he makes it his mission to get to know him. Too bad Shin is about as sociable as fungus, and about as likable, too. But Ren isn't good at giving up, so he takes on the challenge of cracking Shin's titanium shell. What he finds underneath, though...more

Starting this novel, I was pretty much sure I was for reading a yaoi novel, which I did, but I wasn’t expecting for it to be something more other than sex. Let’s be true, most of the yaoi novel out there are about sex between cure boys, the plot is usually thin and only a frame to the main action, that is the sex.

So plot about American-Japanese student Ren falling in love for fellow student Shin, was for me the sure starting point for a series of hot meetings between them. The author made them c...more

The chemistry between the characters literally sizzled on the pages, you could feel the draw between the two even as Sin tried to continuously push Ren away. If you enjoy books that don’t immediately have the characters going at each other then this should be at the top of the least. Because of this delay we got and awesome in depth look at these imperfect characters and just what made them tick.

What the book could have use more of is details, not in characters because as I mentioned before th...more

Ren is seriously into the new student Shin, but Shin is the strong silent type and he’s ignoring the crap out of him. Ren is a trooper though, he keeps on keeping on talking Shin, until he warms up to him in a totally Shin way. There is a somewhat friendship but Shin is keeping secrets, and keeping Ren at arms length even though the chemistry between them could set fire to pages.

Shin has secret phone calls and secret meetings, and Ren just wants to know what’s up. As they say ‘curiosity kil...more

Incognito is a fast paced, suspenseful and sexy read. I started it right before bedtime so I had intentions of just reading a chapter or two before I went to sleep. Wrong! I ended up staying awake until I finished reading the entire book. I really fell in love with one of the heroes, Ren, and couldn’t stop reading the story until I found out how everything turned out.

Ren is a unique and interesting character. He’s young, smart and once he takes one look at...more

I feel as though the summary blurb for this book is a bit misleading on the plot. You go into the book thinking that there will be a good suspense and a bit of who-done-it but that isn’t the case at all. Not to say that the author didn’t do a very good job at suspense but it was suspense involving the characters and not that plot. That plot actually fell through for me but the one involving the romance of these characters held tight and was to...more

I loved this book! Loved how Ren never gave up trying to get Shin to notice him. And he was very creative in some of the ways he tried to get Shin's attention, I'm still laughing. Even though you really don't get a whole lot of back story on Ren and Shin, you like them, you feel as though you know what they're thinking and feeling.
A great read and I highly recommend this book!

I loved the Japanese setting in this book, Japan is one of my favorite places for a setting. I was hoping this would end up having a paranormal twist to it but sadly it didn't, but it was great the way it was. I loved how Ren was so persistant trying to get Shin to be friends with him in the beginning, and then he was adamant about sticking to him in the end.

I'm positively impressed in this book. Ren was the best character ever. Sure, he was a pest in Shin (Seiji) opinion, but the best kind. I loved how Ren never given up to win Shin's affection. And his snooping and poking for some personal information from Shin was comical in every way. The dialogs were great. I really recommend this story!

I don't know what to say. It was okay, I guess. Main character are Ren and Seiji. It did not feel emotions between those two and they did not pull me into the story. The story is nothing special.
