Revolution (Collide #4)
by
Shelly Crane (Goodreads Author)
In the fourth and final installment, everything is on the line. Merrick's life is in the balance and Lily is their only hope. Ellie and her new powers are miraculous, but also problematic; if she's with the bunker family, they won't be able to sense when the Lighters are there. There are many new members to the bunker and sparks will fly, and with the food shortage, they w...more

What a great series this was. I watched the main characters slowly evolve, their worlds changing, the decisions that they made shaping them slowly, beautiful relationships blossoming, as well as the uncertainty of what was going to happen next: would someone betray them? Would the lighters attack? What happened to Merrick?
I also really liked the general feel of the novel, a sense of conviction and determination. In general the whole series was amazing, watching Merrick become more human, Sherry...more

Revolution is a great end to a great series. When the book opened up with a lyric from one of my favorite bands, The Cab, I knew I was in for a great read and I was not wrong. Can you say one sitting book? Cause that is what this is, but I really shouldn't be surprised. It is near impossible to put down any of Shelly's books and this one was no exception.

Shelly has done it again. She's managed to write another amazingly rich and complex book filled with amazingly developed characters that takes its reader through the complete spectrum of emotion. I truly admire this author. She consistently creates characters whose strength is illustrated by their willingness to overcome failure, hardship and betrayal with grace, determination and forgiveness. That this was her very first series is surprising as each of these four Collide books has been as metic...more
Shelly Crane, what can I say that would truly capture the way I feel about Revolution? I haven’t reviewed the rest of the Collide Series and I’m thinking I may have to remedy that because; this series is seriously one of the best series that shows the struggle of life and love.
First and foremost, for those of you have already read the Collide series up until this point, take a major deep breath and know Merrick is very much still with us! I was so worried but knew Shelly wouldn’t do that to us,...more

How is it possible to love a series of books when you know you are reading the last book? Well, Shelly Crane is the master of it! I was shocked and very surprised when I received this ARC from Shelly. I want to thank Shelly Crane VERY MUCH!!
Best part: I thought long and hard about this because it was just so tough to pick my favorite part. So, the best part of this book is the characters, ALL OF THEM! Each is unique to the story, each has a special plac...more

I have wanted to read Ms. Crane’s books for a while now; I would see reviews and comments regarding how incredible her books; in fact my own daughter for her 14th birthday in June received a Kindle, and what did she want?(This was after previously reading one of Ms. Crane’s other novels…) Yes, you guessed it, she wanted all of Ms Cranes novels! So she did receive them and loved them! I would see her staying up late(it was Summer); wrapped around her Kindle reading; so yes, I was looking forward...more
It is so sad to see this series come to an end. We've all been through thick and thin with Sherry, Merrick, and the rest of the gang. In Revolution, the battle is coming to a crescendo. Not only are they threatened by the Lighters, the Markers, and the Enforcers, now they have Graphters to worry about. After their location is compromised, they have to leave suddenly, leaving everything they have built behind, things, memories, and lost loved ones. Food is scarce and so is privacy, but neverthele...more
I have grown attached to these characters, so I am sad to be writing a review for the last book. I don't want to say goodbye!!!! I guess its lucky for me I don't really have to, I will just reread the books over and over again, so ha! I found a loophole!
Enough with me and my crazy antics, on to the reivew! I don't want to give too much away, being as this is the fourth book and all! (*sniffles* and the last). I will say that I enjoyed this one just as much as the others. The characters were amaz...more

This final installment in the Collide Series is bitter sweet. I've been anxious to find out what Merrick's fate would be but not so ready for the series to end. Shelly in her genius way gives us our most wanted answers in the first two chapters. There are so many things I loved about Revolution. One of my favorite parts is Lily playing dolls with Calvin. Her reference to Joy doll being "Piper, psycho Barbie" and telling the boy doll to "take that you sissy" made me laugh out loud. I LOVED the de...more

The whole Collide series is absolutely perfect and Revolution is no exception. I'm deeply saddened to see these books come to an end. While this was an amazing ending, I feel that I have been through so much with Sherry, Merrick, Danny, Jeff, Marissa, and the others that I can't let them go. This book is a solid five stars and does not disappoint.

I love the moments Sherry and Merrick because they always have time to say I love you or to laugh together or to be a family with their little girl Lily. They love each so much and they are perfect for each other.
Lily in this book helps the keepers to fight agains the lighters and she is the key to destroy the lighters.I love this girl because is so innocent and so sweet.

I was thrilled to death to receive an ARC of "Revolution" by the talented Shelly Crane.
I have read every one of her books and she is awesome. This is the last book in The Collide Series
which made this book be bitter sweet for me. I have come to know and love the characters so well that I never wanted it to end. I have paperback copies of all of her books and will definitely be getting this one! This book was action packed and emotional for me. I envy the love of Sherry and Merrick.

What a way to end a series! I am sad and relieved all at the same time. Revolution was inspiring and dramatic and wonderful! Everything came together so beautifully to wrap up the story. This book made me angry in some parts, cry in others and rejoice when things came together. I fell in love with a particular character and am sad to see him go even though we just got to know him. Shelly knows how to deliver a pulse pounding story that keeps you desperate for more until the very last page! I can...more
The final book in a very good series. While this book did have more grammar errors then the last two, the plot line was solid. The characters were so deep and you either loved them or hated them and most you loved.
The strongest part of this book, and the reason I gave it a 5 star and not a 4 was the ending. Not only did the author end the story well, but she showed you what the future held. With so many lives on the line and so many problems they still had to face, she gave you a way to let the...more

I am surely going to miss the bunker family and their adventures. Even though it was hard to keep track of them sometimes. It was a fitting conclusion for the series. The balance was definitely tipped in their favor with the most recent addition of Ellie, Daniel, and adorable Lily. As well as the gifts of Calvin and Cain gave and edge to the band of misfits battle against the Lighters. I really appreciated that the conclusion didn't drag on once things came to a head. It was straight and to the...more
This book was PURE perfection! I had a hard time finishing it ONLY because it was the end to the series and I didn't want to say goodbye. I've grown so attached to all the characters that it felt wrong to just rush through this book without dragging it out and savoring it for as long as as I could.

The battle is coming and it’s a fight for the survival of all life on Earth. Sherry, Merrick and the gang are all putting everything on the line to face the threat of the Lighters, the Markers and the new Graphters. Will they be able to find the key to defeat the ultimate invasion force or will all be lost.

What a great conclusion to the series.
This bunker family can't seem to catch a break. It's always something. Just when things start to look grim, they find hope that things will be better.
There are a few new unexpected allies that prove to be very useful. Cain and Daniel manage a somewhat truce. And Lily is VERY instrumental in this finale. ;) Even though times seem bleak, there is good news sprinkled throughout this story.

I usually like to add a little summary of the book in my own words when I write my reviews. It's just how I roll. But I really don't want to do that on this review cause it would kinda give too much away. Trust me, you will want to read this book to get closure for the series. But one thing is for sure...these guys cannot catch a flippin break!

How to possibly write a review of a capstone book without giving too much away....this my challenge with this AMAZING novel by Shelly Crane.
From the very beginning, Shelly reels you in. With the oh so tense cliffhanger at the end of CATALYST (book 3), there was no doubt that REVOLUTION was going to have to start with a bang. As Shelly has done throughout the series, the development of the relationships between her characters is wonderful. I literally was on the edge of my seat throughout the en...more

Overall, this was a great ending to the Collide series. I was happy with the ending...and how things got resolved. I will miss Sherry, Merrick, Celeste, Danny, Miguel, Jeff, Marissa, and, of course, Lily (and the rest of the cast and crew). I was disappointed, though, that the 'war' was a paragraph. It was built up so much in the book, and then when it happened, it was just this short little "oh by the way" kind of mention. I wish more attention had been taken to this fight, much more detail.......more
This was one of my favorite series by Shelly Crane, but this entry really felt phoned in to me. I don't know if I just wasn't in the mood or what, but it did not engage me. It seemed too quick and tidy. Especially the end. Way to easy. It seemed like the meat of the story was abbreviated for the long HEA ends. And it also seemed really short compared to the other books in the series. I don't know if that was just my perception or what. I was really bummed.
I am so sad to have this series end. But since it does have to come to an end, I wouldn't have it any other way.
Revolution wraps up the Collide series absolutely perfectly. We get to see how all of our favorite couples end up and there are lots and lots of surprises. Shelly has done it again. I swear everything that woman writes is gold!!
I'm hoping that Shelly will do some novellas in the future about some of the couples. I just can't get enough!!!

Wow! Shelly you did a wonderful job on all 4 books. I loved it from the start, Merrick and Sherry's love is, just, wow! All the characters portrayed important roles in every situation. Of course Lily was my favorite.
I forget to mention that the series name is perfect "Collide" (also the song is one of my favorite), colliding of two different beings, from different sides (bad and good), different worlds and somehow become ONE. Brilliantly written. I'm in awe. Bravo!!

I'm sad the series ended ): but also super happy about it! I loved the ending (: Hope was unexpected but I thought it was a nice twist. Hmm lily and Calvin? *hint* ooh idk maybe could happen. The ending did not leave anything hanging and was really solid. Loved it and going to go read another series by the same author (: one part I noticed but didn't really mind was that almost everyone just so happened to find a soulmate in this book....oh well.

The final book in the Collide series. I am immensly in love with all the characters in this book! A perfect ending to Collide. I loved seeing almost everyones point of view. I just wish I could've seen more Cain and Lillian. The way Shelly Crane writes makes you have to continue until you finish! Merrick is even more lovable in this book (If that is even possible) and Cain is even more sexy (Once again , if that is possible). The only complaints I had was that I got some serious Cain withdraws,...more
OH. MY. GOSH. Already suffering from withdrawals. I wish I could have savored this book, but I flew through it to see what happens! It's insanely good. Well done Shelly, I was in tears at the end. Love, love, loved it. I snagged an ARC for the book tour, and I felt compelled to leave a teaser on GR that everyone needs to buy this book if you have/are reading the Collide series. Seriously. Go do it. It's so worth it!!
