I know, I'm the author and as with all the other books I will always think my work is good. I'm still unsure why goodreads allows authors to rate their own books but hey never mind.

There were moments in this book that I felt connected to nature, but it took a long time to become interested in the protagonist. Rosemary went to the cottage to search and recover herself, but with the narrative in “omniscient” point of view, it lost its credibility for me. I would have had more empathy for Rosemary if the book had been written in first person. The countryside of Wales was a draw and perhaps because it was a self-reflection the energy level was somewhat low-key.

'Woman on the Edge of Reality' is a gentle, introspective read with some insightful observations on life and relationships. It also delivers a soft nudge to remember to slow down and tune into ourselves and our surroundings, observing and savouring each moment. We can learn a lot about ourselves with a cup of tea and some moments of stillness . . . if we are prepared to take that important inward journey, that is!

I read this when I needed something more relaxing than the epic fantasy and thrille...more

I really wanted to give it 4.5 stars. I loved this book, it was a lovely light read full of things a lot of women can relate too. I really fancy a holiday to Cornwall now too!

I got as far as page 3 and had to abandon it-and I can usually give a book a go-sadly this was way too tedious-sorry

Rosemary/Rosie is a delightfully flawed women that can be easily related to. I was priveledged to be a first read winner of this enlightening book. I see so much of myself in Rosie and I'm sure every women can. It's now one of my favorites. Thanks again Linda.

Woman On The Edge Of Reality is moving and even surprising. The story of personal growth and relationships is both universal and highly original. Beautifully written, often lyric, it is a reminder that the “unexamined life is not worth living” (Socrates). I read the Kindle edition not listed on GR. This is an outstanding book, and I recommend it highly to readers of Literary Fiction.

I started out wanting to be a librarian and even did my work experience in my local library. I love the feel and smell of books and get a high when I have a new one to get my teeth into. I almost ended up as a librarian when I went to library school at Loughborough Uni and studied information science.

I am the author of six books and one short story including Woman on the Edge of Reality, LinkedIn...more
