When Craig walks into the Cerulean Sphere looking for a one-night stand to enliven his business travel, he is definitely NOT looking for Jesse, a flaming twink sporting a pink feathered boa. But Craig finds himself surprised by the charmer, and is forced to reevaluate his initial impression of the young man, and to reconsider his prejudices. But when they meet again by sur...more

A man in a feather boa. Is there anything better? Our hero, Jesse, begins the story with stated feather boa as part of his ensemble, which also includes eyeliner and a very tight shirt. He is at Cerulean Sphere bar, where he meets Craig, who travels for his job (doing audits) and looks for hook ups to keep him occupied. This happy little twink is just not his type, even when Jesse offers a no-strings-attached blow job. Craig definitely gives a no, changes his...more

This was a really cute story about a guy who travels a lot for work who hooks up with a twink, completely with pink feather boa who is totally not his type, but whom there may be more to than he thoughts. It was nice they were both content to just have a fun weekend together. A few years later they meet up on the job, but there is a bit of a misunderstanding when Jesse assumes he is ashamed of their relationship. However they eventually work it out and show they've both grown up since they just...more

Elizabeth Brooks’s ASSUMPTION OF DESIRE is a great story about making assumptions based on appearance and assumptions that things will never change.

This is a sweet, easy read with a lesson to teach. I liked the way Ms Brooks made four years fit into a short story without sacrificing any of the plot.

Cute story with some growing up to be done and a few misunderstandings to clear up. It's a sweet romance with the 21st Birthday celebration a memorable addition Lol.

Very good short m/m romance about an auditor who hooks up with a totally-not-his-style twink while he's in town for two weeks. A few years later, he finds himself back in the same town...

This is my second book by Ms Brooks and I liked them both.
It's a light read, no drama or angst, just a fluffy sexy read.

Ever made a snap decision on a person based on what they look like only to later find out you couldn't be further from the truth? When Craig meets Jesse, that's exactly what he does.
Ever been convinced you want one thing only to discover you really want something else? Again, you've guessed it, that's what happens to Craig.
A really sweet story with the moral of not judging a book by its cover.

Elizabeth taught herself to read at the age of three, and started writing stories when she was five, though it took her a little longer to work up to erotica. She writes mostly sci-fi, fantasy, and romance. When she's not writing, she loves reading, roleplaying games, photography, scrapbooking, and geeky gadgets. She currently lives in Virginia with her husband, two children, and their enormous ca...more
