5 SUFFOCATING STARS!(with minor exception)
Whew!!! What am emotionally trying journey for this couple. Daniel and Melanie have suffered through major pain, loss & suffocating hurt. What started out as a promising future led to undeniable despair. Contentment may have been earned in the end, but at a great cost.
The ending was sweet, but I was deeply troubled by it as well. It's not my ideal situation by a long shot. No ma'am, but it's a strong HEA, just not a platinum one for me.

This was a nice read and I did enjoy it.
It was really sweet and the relationship between Melanie and Daniel is really special with the soul mate aspect being dealt with beautifully.
I certainly cried in this book and it did pull at my heartstrings.

For me this book was a train wreck. First a few nice things to offer potential readers. Skip Pulled and go for

The gushy phrasing over and over again

3.5 Stars. Why? Because throwing shirts on floors does not count as a sex scene. I did enjoy it, but it was very angsty and it was seriously laking in sex anticipation, which is good since there wasn't ANY. I can't believe I read a CLEAN book and enjoyed it, but I did. This writer reminded me a lot of Lisa Marie Rice, very heavy on the emotional. But take heed there was NO alpha male. It was hard to put down and satisfying.

Oh man! As much as I wanted to rate this lower I just cant. The more I thought about this book and what happened the more I loved it. Some decisions made by Melanie really made me question if I really liked this book. I finally had to step back and some advice from a friend I soon realized that she was a victim.
Melanie meets a boy who becomes her everything. No one really understands the extent of his power over her but Melanie and Daniel cant deny what they have.

I was expecting more out of this book than what I got. It was a good book, not a great book. That saddens me. I was looking forward to more emotion than what I received from reading this. The plot was there; the characters were there. What wasn't there was the delivery.

What an amazing novel! I have been finding some great romance books lately, and this is indeed one of them. I was completely drawn into the story between Daniel and Melanie. This story has all the elements that make a love story great. Suspense, fear, anger, hopelessness, and ultimate joy.

Wow I actually finished it at midnight last night so I read it in one day ;) couldn't put it down i wanted to keep going and i didnt care if i was up all night, and it was so worth it.

Once again Amy wows me with her addicting story and writing. I swear I don't know how she does it!! She's one of a few that can instill a million emotions at one time. Fucking brilliant she is!!!!! Gaaaaah, this book was hard to read at times-so gutwrenching and unforgettable!! I love her men she creates, they are so noble and heroic. I can't even chose which book I love more, Take this Regret or Pulled....they are both utterly captivating and spectacular . Full review to come!

I really enjoyed this book for the most part. The love story is compelling and I loved the idea of a magnetic pull between two people. No matter what happened, Daniel and Melanie always find their way back to each other, proving that their love is fated.

What an emotional roller coaster of a book. I honestly haven't spent so much time crying and smiling while reading in a long time. I loved it! I love when a book can make you actually feel the emotions, not just register them in your mind, but ACTUALLY feel them too. I cried often when the scenes were heartwrenching, my heart swelled with pride and love during the most cherished moments the characters spend together and I felt hatred towards one character - I truly wanted him to just go away so...more
Let me preface by saying, I am NOT a contemporary romance reader. That said, Jackson drew me in in spite of myself. By the end of this novel I was screaming at my Kindle, these characters had me so engrossed. Excellent pick!
This book was written by a childhood friend of mine. I am so proud of her for following her dreams and writing it. I loved this book from the start. It kept my interest and i found it hard to put down. I smiled and cried along with the characters!
This is officially my favorite book so far! The love that Melanie and Daniel share is so intense it will steal your breathe. LOVED LOVED LOVED! This emotionally charged love story of Melanie and Daniel had me from the first chapter. A.L. Jackson's writing is strong from the beginning to the very end. She leaves her readers with a feeling of contentment and hope that maybe we really can have our fairytale. A must read!
This book was absolutely wonderful. I read it in a day because I just could not put it down. This was such a beautiful love story with real characters everyone can relate to at some time in their life and the emotions are so real that I was feeling them as I read the characters feeling them. So overwhelming and the plot was wonderful, I didn't know if was all gonna end up the way I wanted it to and it didn't . . . it was better. I recommend this book to everyone!
Can you say tear jerker??? Oh, how my heart broke while reading this story. The book goes back and forth between past and present which allows us to get a thorough understanding of all of the different emotions involved in the storyline and the characters. We learn in the very beginning that Melanie, our heroine, is in a loveless marriage to Nicholas, but feels as though this is what she deserves. We also learn that she longs for Daniel whom she loved when she was just a teenager.
