This book is fascinating to anyone who interested in the trials and executions of the innocent in the mid 1800s. The scanned pages are, at times, illegible. I have found a lot of the same court reports online that have been transcribed so that doesn't bother me. What I love about the book is the notes by the author on almost all the questions asked of witnesses at Elizabeth's Trial. She did not have much of a defense team and several of her witnesses were not allowed to testify. She was found gu ...more
