There is this awesome moment when you read an author's second book and realize it's better than the first! Well, I experienced that moment reading this. You can see the improvement, and it just makes you so happy.
The last couple of chapters were just brilliant. They kept me on the edge of the seat.
I'm so glad there's no shifting POV anymore. It was all from Lexi's POV and I wasn't constantly confused who is thinking what. Such an improvement!

Well I am done I am also speechless. Imagine that! I will say even the premise of Lex going on this self loathing hell trip was like a kick in the ass. This book, much like Avoiding Commitment, made me mad. It was almost uncomfortable to read. So much drama, so much angst. I think because you are reading he past AND the present there is just never a break from it.
I loved Ramsey. I really did, even in book one but even I couldn't trust him after all his lies! Some were small, some were understandable but the big picture is he lies...a LOT. And he's going to be working with Parker? No way buddy! I'm glad they stayed together in...more

Wow!! What can I say this is great book! I love Lexi & Ramsey! We saw her growth & acceptance of her mistakes. She found her true love in Ramsey. Jack of course never changes, however, Lexi stood her ground & didn't let him get to her. I enjoyed Chyna she's fabulous!! The ending was stellar to say the least!! OMG!! So, I've spent the past two days completely immersed in K.A. Linde's emotionally dysfunctional world of Lexi and Jack, and now that it's over, I'm thinking maybe I need a Doctor to prescribe some Prozac for me!

I love these books, love the writing, the flicking from past to present, the mystery, the intrigue, the emotion! The characters....every single one of them are just awesome! It all just keeps you turning page after page until eventually you are sitting there wondering where your day went & how did it get so late?

WOW! What can I say, just finished reading this...and it was fantanstic. So damn happy that Lexi found her voice...so freakin' in love with Ramsey! K.A. Lindle.....you hooked me for sure...and I was so sure that there was a huge mistake coming around the bend with the Mystery Man...such a great little twist there!! Ok, just read this book for the second time and sorry TEAM JACK.....he is just an ass. I know you wanted me to join you, I wish I could but I just can't. He is way too frustrating and I want to kick him just like Lexi did. I'm TEAM RAMSEY, even w/his faults he is a good guy and he truly loves Lexi and will treat her right. I can finally say that I'm done with this series. I had my eyes rolled at almost all the effin' scenes. Sighed like there's no tomorrow; I'd also CUSSED a LOT in DIFFERENT Languages I know (English--WTF is always there of course, Tagalog--which is actually sounds a lot like Spanish, Japanese and Korean); I also keep asking myself Why the hell am I doing reading this book? but of course I keep on reading.

So now that I’ve finished Avoiding Responsibility, I need to think about this for a while. I LOVED, LOVED, LOVED the 1st book, Avoiding Commitment. It evoked so many different emotions. I anticipated the same with this book, but it didn’t have me as much on edge as did the prior book.
