The mean kids know. Her hardworking single mother knows. The cute, nerdy senior that she loves knows. There is just something about Eri Lane. But none of them know just how different ...more

This story was one that took full attention for me to read. There are several very visual and descriptive scenes that my usual reading speed couldn't quite comprehend what the pictures were in my mind.
I have no idea if that makes any sense. But I had to take this book is sections because of the very fantastical scenes. Trying to envision in my brain what the characters were describing as seeing took some time to read and then envision in my own mind to understand what was happening in the story.

The Metaphysical life of Eri Lane was a very unique book. I had quite a hard time getting into it and understanding it, but when I did it was awesome!

It’s always so refreshing to come across a paranormal YA novel that is entirely unique — to me, at least. I haven’t read or heard of anything that sounds like The Metaphysical Double Life of Eri Lane, and dove into it happily.

Eri Lane, our hero, is a strange bird. She’s a smart fourteen year old girl in a school for the gifted, and she is indeed gifted (or cursed, depending on how you see it). She’s definitely intense, she’s incredibly thoughtful and in

The Metaphysical Double Life of Eri Lane was fun, imaginative, and creative. I really enjoy original writing like this. It wasn’t just the charcters I was hooked on, but the worlds they ventured to, the things they saw and the people they met, and the overall concept and how well it was portrayed. I had a hard to time adjusting to the story at the begininning, as it was something very new to me, but things grew very easy and welcoming as the story progressed. It became more inventive and enjoyab ...more
