What an inspiring book!

Having traveled quite a bit, including a dozen trips to Europe, I consider myself a pretty experienced traveler. So I was surprised at the number of new ideas that I gained from this inspiring book.

I have always dreamed of extended travel for months at a time, and this book is packed with practical advice for making it happen. I especially like the tips for dealing with your home and possessions while away for extended periods, and the money saving tips. The list of onlin

A lot of the "advice" in this book was just common sense - for instance, suggesting that you'll be safer if you don't walk in dark alleys in bad parts of town late at night, or flash big wads of cash around. While I did find a few useful tips on packing and such, a lot of the info here would be most useful if you had never gone anywhere in your life. There are also lots of useful references to various websites.
