Not my cuppa. What I did not like:

1. This story would have worked better as a full-length novel. There was a little bit of this and a little bit of that.
2. It’s possible that a lot of readers will think differently, however, I did not appreciate the plot. It was not well thought out. It’s very easy, after all, when you can blame the dead parents (view spoiler). By doing that, the misery took its course.
3. From the ge

This beautifully written, heart-wrenching short story has well-developed characters that reach out, grab the reader and draw them into their conflict. Exquisitely done!

Hart's Desire is a passionate and heartfelt romance about a couple who overcome their past, discover the truth, and choose to love again.

This is a short story of Melinda and Greg - high school sweethearts with a huge misunderstanding between them. After 30 years they accidently reconnect and the emotions run high! This story is one of loss and learning to love again. It definitely sets the stage for books in the series to follow.

This is my 2nd book by the author and I love the way she develops the characters. They seem very real, very human, down-to-earth, lovable despite their imperfections and struggles, and much like people I

A quick read, with anguish, tears and frustration, but with a good ending.
I would have loved it to be a full length novel, however I do see the plus side to a condensed story.
Again the characters emotions run the storyline and is a good launchpad for further books in the series.

Thanks again to the author for gifting the book in exchange for an honest review.

Great book. Couldn't put the book down or wait until I had a chance to read it again. Love, relationships, parenting, mistakes... Teenage girl, pregnant, parents do what they think is right, baby's father goes into service without knowning about child.
