There has been much debate over the question of penguins of late. Are they birds? Are they fish? What are they? Milo and Nina experience much confusion in their quest to find something to eat for dinner. This is a happy tale for children and a sad tale for hungry adults who like pies.

A delightful little hand-printed book which describes such mysteries as are to be found lurking behind the fish counters of Dublin.

My favourite part was where (view spoiler). I also enjoyed the face of the penguin at the back of the dish and his or her most singular expression of alarm, reflecting the very real sense in which we are all penguins in a piscine pie of our own making.

This is totally great. I loved it but wanted to read it with my kids before giving the final review. They were super into it. The story is funny but it's also just slightly weird and creepy in the way the best children's stories are. The art is stunning and the book is a gorgeous thing to hold. The whole package. Really excited to see what's next from our crew in Dublin.

SO delightful and great looking and good to hold. Also funny, and plausible in its way. Though I personally have never mistaken a penguin for a pie ingredient, I certainly bought that Milo and Nina would.
