Adult review for erotic content.
I think I'd rather be doing laundry than writing this review right now. I wish I were kidding. It's hard to write reviews for books when you want to emphasize what you did like while not completely avoiding what you didn't like.
Can we somehow put this on an advertisement poster for BDSM? Maybe if we did, the subject wouldn't freak people out so much.

FULL REVIEW NOW POSTED.
My review contains spoilers for The Siren so, if you haven’t read that, I suggest you read no further.
So, a highly anticipated sequel to The Siren and I’m happy to say that it doesn’t disappoint and really does even surpass its predecessor. All our favourite characters are back, embracing their kink, living unashamedly in their sexy underworld. A slice to the labia!? Say WHAT!

I feel like I need to rectify what I said about the slice to the labia before I start my review. I did not say it was non-consensual or that Nora's body was being sliced up, which in fact it was, but not against her will. Not once did I say that or ever imply that it was. It was all consensual. Preliminary review-This book is amazing. Just amazing. Tiffany Reisz is so damn smart. She makes you think. She makes you feel. She makes you question yourself and your beliefs. She's not afraid of the darknessthat resides in a character's soul and she's not afraid drag you along with her into that darkness.. Nothing is taboo with her, and she makes you feel like you should reconsider what you consider taboo. All of her characters are relatable. All are human, flawed and beautiful.

Freaking Amazing!!!! Loved It!!!! Even better than the first book!!!!
5 Mind Blowing Stars!!!!
I swear I'm in love with a sexy sadistic man name Soren!!! "Sighs"

I've been sitting here looking at my computer for an hour now trying to get my thoughts together and I still don't know what to say about this book. There are just NO WORDS to describe how dark and thrilling this series is. I'm so in love with all the characters "sighs". All I can say is I love this series!!! This book was by far the best More...

Tiffany Reisz is a Goddess with a pen!
5+ Brilliant Stars!
The Original Sinners series by Tiffany Reisz has completely consumed me. This is hands down one of the best series I have had the pleasure of reading. Reisz is brilliant in her writing and capturing the distinct personalities of each of her characters. She writes characters that are multi-layered, that will find their way into your heart and mind. They are dark, funny, witty, charming, promiscuous, damaged, sexy, shy, and just an absolut More...

All I can say at this late hour is "You lucky fucking bitch!"
Now that I've gotten some sleep... I can gather my thoughts on this one!!! What a fabulous story!!!
The Angel is a continuation of the story introduced in The Siren, a glimpse into what happens next in the life of Nora Sutherlin as well as a closer look into the past lives of Nora's men, the elusive Søren, Kingsley Edge, Griffin Fiske, Wes Railey and The Angel... Michael Dimir.

The Angel is the second installment in Tiffany Reisz’s popular The Original Sinners series. It explores the characters we’ve come to know from The Siren while introducing new ones. At times, it’s gripping, dark, and filled with twists and turns that will leave you gasping. By the end, I was exhausted.
We are taken back into Nora Sutherlin’s world where some of the most deepest, darkest and kinkiest desires are explored. A year has passed since the reunion with her long time lover, Father Marcus S More...

Abosolute Favourite of this series so far!
And why? (I know I here you all asking). Well the answer is Michael and Griffen.
Nora just seemed like a side character to me in this one, someone I wanted out of the way so I could focus on the beautiful Angel, Michael.
There was plenty going on in this book. It wasn't soley focused on relationships and sex. In fact with snoopy super sleuth Suzanne on the job we actually get some answers about the ever mysterious Soren and what answers they were!! Wooooo More...

My impressions or why I hated this book so much
Why people write books? For as many reasons as there are writers I suppose. Some of them just want to tell a story – their story or an interesting story or a story that taught them something and can teach something the readers. Some of them want to share their experience to overcome some demons of their past. Some of them do it just to earn money, the more the better. There are two things that help you achieve the latter: sex and scandal. The series More...

Well, at least this book cleared some things for me. We get to know the cast much better, we learn more about their histories, the reasons behind some of their actions. They're much easier to understand now.
Soren
The character that changed my opinion about him is definitely Soren. In the first book he came across as a cold and dangerous sadist. Here, we see more of his softer side, the wounded man who loves Nora more than anything else. He officially became my favorite.

Søren and Elenora are back together, is this the happily ever after? After years apart, they are reunited; it's a beautiful thing watching them together. The BDSM edgeplay is definitely turned up in this one. The SM is absolutely divine. The blood play was unexpected and gives edge players delicious shivers.
In this story, the history unfolds like layers of an onion skin. While this is cliché to say, it’s because as each memory is peeled back, the reader can not help but gasp in pain with tears More...

Finally, the much anticipated second installment of the The original sinners!
It’s such an incredible book with so many twists that even up until the last few pages, I couldn't see how it would end. There’s such great depth to the characters, the well-written story line and the smart dialogues, seriously; give me Tiffany Reisz's dialogues any day, any time. You don't often find these three strong aspects in an erotic novel, which is why Tiffany Reisz is brilliant.

Many waters cannot quench love, Nor will rivers overflow it - Song of Solomon 8:7
The Angel, book number two in Tiffany Reisz's fascinating Original Sinners series, echoes time and again--literally and figuratively--with the sentiments of Song of Solomon chapter 8, verse 7.
While book one, The Siren, set the scene for us, The Angel takes us deeper. We are reunited with our favorite group of sinners approximately one year after the end of The Siren.

Let me just start with an image: Griffin, the kinky trust fund playboy, skipping through his mansion, wearing only Doc Marten boots and a kilt. Then he sits on the bed with his legs wide open. Sure enough, he's wearing his kilt in true Scottish fashion. He was a stitch-in-the-gut riot and an unexpected enjoyment. An example of his attitude is his directions to the kitchen. Truthfully, only 2 authors have the power to completely WRECK me: Aleksandr Voinov and Tiffany Reisz.
To truly appreciate the works of art that are Tiffany Reisz’s books, you have to remove yourself from your own belief system…approach these books as you would a paranormal or fantasy book. Because truth be told, very few of us share this reality. And if you’re unable to disengage from what you think is “right” or “appropriate” or “acceptable”, fearing that the subject-matter tests your “hard lim More...

The Angel takes place thirteen months after the end of The Siren.
If I were going to sum up The Angel in two words, I would say it is a tale of secrets and revelations. It explores the characters we grew to love (or, for some, another emotion… perhaps fear or loathing) in The Siren more thoroughly. It delves deeper into them, into their histories and memories... And each one hits you like a physical blow—like a knife to the gut. So real and painful.

I'm going to start this review just like my review of The Siren: Holy crap!
I'm hooked. Never have I been more out of my comfort zone with a book and still felt so completely invested in it.
Is this book erotica? BDSM literature? Pffft, it's so much more than that. Theoretically, I should have been already prepared and less unsettled by The Angel. After all, I already knew the characters and their kinks and kinda knew what to expect. I should have known better: Reisz managed to make me think I wa More...

The Angel, the second book in Tiffany Reisz' Original Sinners series, was a feast for fans of The Siren. Not only do we have the chance to reconnect with the characters we fell in love with in the first book, but also a chance to get to know them all a bit better. Some of the revelations with shock you, some will break your heart, but guaranteed they will all leave you salivating for more. For those who are new to the series, keep in mind that this is not a BDSM-romance wrapped in HEAs, sunshine More...

Well, this book have to be the kinkiest-f***kery I have ever read. It had far more sexscenes than the previous book. I was kind of expecting it, because of the way The Siren ended.
