The book “The Best Detective” is an easy mystery book. In the book, Nancy loses her detective notebook, and inside the notebook, there are 3 movie tickets that she needs to watch with her 2 best friends. However that is not the worse, the worse is Jason try to find her notebook, to prove that he is the best detective. At the end, Nancy finds that. This is #8 in the Nancy Drew notebook series. The story starts with Nancy's blue detective notebook going missing. A kid named Jason (a rather immature kid, even for 3rd grade) decides he wants to prove he's a better detective than Nancy and so he competes with her in trying to find her notebook.
As usual, there are different suspects and Nancy works hard to solve the mystery. As expected, she solves the mystery, though the solution is somewhat unexpected. A good book.

Nancy loses important movie tickets and suspects that someone might have stolen them.

This was one of the good books from my childhood! I was always intrigued with mystery stories. Books that involved Nancy Drew fed my interest. I found it interesting to read books from her younger days. They may seem very childish, but hey! It is still a fast and fun read.

This is a good one for kids. The characters are polite, well mannered, and have fun, too.
