I loved Wisdom's character from No More Time Outs, so I was excited to find out there is now a sequel! With death hanging over Wisdom's head, he decides before he dies, he needs to set his family on the right path. Both of his brothers are still a mess, both lost to the streets. His sister and preacher father haven't changed either, and are still out cheating on their spouses. Wisdom knows he needs to pull the family together for his mother's sake. If he's
Carousel of Madness

Highnoon, a childhood friend turned enemy of Wisdom's, has offered to help save Mama Jones' life. He doesn't require much, just a big heaping order of revenge. Wisdom struggles with the decision but decides that if anyone deserves a second chance, it is his mother. His only stipulation is that he wants time to make his family whole. Highnoon gives Wisdom a week to get his family back on solid ground. Will seven days be enough time to help this family?

With all odds stacked against him, Wisdom finds himself in the most challenging race of his life. Racing to save the life of his mother and redeem his dysfunctional family values. The most challenging test of all lies in attempting to redirect his father's lust and pulpit pimping.

An intense, action packed, suspenseful follow up to "No More Time Outs" that sends the message....With focus, faith and determination.....Anything Is Possible.

Excellent, well written as usual Mr Slater takes us into the real gritty world...a story of self sacrifice and still underpinning the various scourges society deals with...I so thing I have read to date...cant wait for the next one :)
This was a page turner. The twist and turns had me on the edge of my seat wanting more. Wisdom had a hard job to pull off and he did it. Thanks again Thomas for another great book.
