This collection is delightfully eclectic, spanning a long career and covering all the obvious genres. It has some wonderful stories, the military-influenced being the best. This is strongly recommended if only for the nicely informative introductions to each story.

No worries about this being one of those "Satan and devils" books. Just a collection of cross-genre fantasy, science fiction, and ghost story stuff that makes for an interesting distraction when there's not something more important to do.
Excellent collection of some of David Drake's short stories. I especially liked the introductions, written by Drake, to each story. Showcases his wide range of talent and creativity.
