Very good book. This is the first in a new series, a follow-on to the H.O.T. Watch series. Sunny was filming an expose on deep sea fishing practices when her boat was rammed and destroyed by an unknown ship. She was rescued by Aiden. When she regains consciousness she discovers she is very attracted to him. Aiden is attracted to her also, but doesn't want to do anything about it. "Breathless Encounter" was not as good as I hoped. Didn't really like her, him, the story, or the resolution to the plot. I struggled to finish this one.
I upped the rating to four stars only because this volume includes The Dark Side Of Night, the first HOT Watch story with Mitch and Kinsey which was pretty good.

I only read Breathless..... First Cindy Dees book for me. She is now on my auto buy list! Although the book is more high octane action adventure with a lighter touch of romance, it was still an enjoyable read. there are many humorous moments mixed in. loved this book
