Lusting after your best friend’s wife is not acceptable behavior for reliable, good old boy, Ben. He is the one folks have come to depend on when it comes to helping others. But when it comes to Dana, his helpful nature may have an ulterior motive. Yes, she may have married his best friend, but she will always be Ben’s girl.

The plot line of this story is what intrigued me, well, that and the sexy cowboys. Dana is out to prove somethin...more
A heartwarming tale, which I actually rated 4.5! Taken from my review at RomanceJunkies.com:

Rancher Ben Franklin Sawyer has had a crush on Dana since kindergarten. In later years, he had held hopes of dating her. That is, until Paul was seated on the other side of her. Eventually, she and Paul had married, but Ben’s crush never abated. Now Paul is dead, killed in active duty overseas. Before leaving, he had made Ben promise to help Dana and the kids, and Ben was determined to abide by his best f...more

I’ve read several books lately where it seems everyone in town has an opinion on the hero/heroine’s burgeoning relationship and honestly, they just really need to butt out! So is the case of Ben and Dana in Barbara White Daille’s latest installment in the Flagman’s Folly series, Honorable Rancher.

Dana is a widow raising three small children alone after her hero husband was killed at war. Her husband’s best friend, Ben, has been in love with her...more

Very good book. Dana's husband was killed overseas and she is now working at going on with her life and taking care of her three children. Ben had been her husband's best friend and her friend since they were children, and had promised her husband he'd look after them if anything happened to him. He had also been in love with her for years. But it has been a year and Dana still won't let him do anything for her - she is insisting she doesn't need any help. He can see that there are things she do...more
This book kind of annoyed me, how the heroine took all the abuse from her decease husband and let the towns people think he was a hero. He wasn't a hero, he was a pathetic excuse for a father, husband and everything else. It drove me batty that she didn't tell the truth to anyone, just let the lies live on. I couldn't make peace with that. Maybe that makes me bitter but I'm fine with that.

As for Clarice, I wanted to slap her silly, fricken old woman sticking her nose in business that wasn't her...more

Here's a bit about me, my books, and my current giveaways.

One of my earlier books, Court Me, Cowboy, has just been reissued as a stand-alone e-book, available at your favorite online retailer.

If you know anyone who likes larger print books, Court Me, Cowboy was also reissued i...more
