Nanny for the Millionaire's Twins has to be hands down the most “heartfelt” Harlequin Romance I have read in long while.

To quote the back cover: Five years ago, Tory's dreams were stolen from her in a horrific accident, but as she becomes a part of Chance's family she faces a heart-wrenching decision-dare she let go of the past and start to hope she can be happy again...?

I’m not going to reiterate the storyline or the plot, the only way to truly enjoy this bo
Very good book with some really intense emotions. Chance has returned to Pine Ward after many years away because he needs help with his twin babies. Once he is there, he has to make peace with his brother and his mom. His mom has also hired a nanny for him to help with the children. At first, Chance is not happy with that, as he intends to be a hands-on father, not one who leaves the kids to others. But Tory convinces him that he can do both. Tory didn't initially want the job either, but she ne ...more

This is a delightfully sweet romance with heart, goodness and a story of two people meeting at the best and worst times of their lives.

I guess Chance Montgomery might be a familiar character with readers who have been following the First Time Dads! series, but this is my first book. I can easily say that this is a standalone read. I never felt lost or thought there were background pieces missing. It’s as perfect a story as one could w
Tetapi Gwen Montgomery, ibunya, sampai saat i ...more
Loved this book! I loved how Tory was loyal to her soon to be fiance even after his accident. I loved how Chance tried so hard to honor her wishes and keep his feelings in check. Chance's twins were adorable. Loved how the little boy was the one who usually needed a little more one on one time instead of the little girl. Overall, great quick read. I would recommend it to anyone.
This was an OK read. I thought the heroine's baggage was very brave and interesting (Angst Ahoy!) and the hero is a nice guy. What didn't work so well for me? All that great angst for the heroine just seemed really abbreviated given the HR word count. I kept wishing this was a longer SuperRomance. Also, hero's ex is cookie-cutter Vile Romancelandia Ex Who Kicks Puppies And Abandons Babies. There were also times that I felt like I had traveled back in time and wasn't reading a contemporary story. ...more

A lovely continuation from Max's story to Chance's. The twins were ever so adorable (i so wish they were in real life haha), but i was really happy i got to see the struggle between Tory and her feelings. The sudden realisation seemed sudden, but it all ended nicely. The epilogue's guest "appearance" with Chance sealed the HEA beautifully :D

I quite enjoyed the premise however at times, the dialogue was very stilted. I was also surprised by how quickly Chance was thinking about starting some kind of relationship with Tory. I also couldn't get on board with a heroine who had a fiance in a coma. But I stopped reading the second time Tory, the nanny, called the house cook 'Cook'.
This was a very compelling story of love and loyalty. tory and Chance have a sweet romance that is held at bay by her past. Great characterization for the two of them pulls the reader in. Meier did an incredible job arguing all sides of the situation. As much as I was rooting for them to get together, the author made me understand Tory's devotion and loyalty to a man in a coma for years. And as that reality sank in I nearly cried with the characters as the bittersweet facts of life settled over ...more
Shallow and boring. And cold milk for small children? Really?
Even two adorable kids don't do much for this book.
2.5-3 stars.

Not bad, but I felt it was missing something.

Nanny for the Millionaire's Twins was pretty good, all things considered. It was actually better than I thought it would be. It had its tense moments and heartbreaking moments... Damnit if it didn't make me suffer!

It was cute too, what with having two adorable babies in it and all. ;)

I think I'll give it one more little star because it was a pretty good page-turner for me and I read it super fast.

More complete review to come later in the month.

I read this book as I am about everything twins at the moment as I am expecting twins myself.

I liked the angst that Tory has, the fact that she is still loyal her the fiance that has been in a coma for the last five years.

Xxx was also a good character but seemed to get over his ex fast enough with Tory as the new nanny.

At times the story went fast and at others a little slow, but the ending was swwet.

Let's face it - I like to read mystries, a few other things, and Susan Meier's romances. This one pits wealthy Chance Montgomery, single father of twins, against Tory Bingham, a young woman devoted to her permanently comatose (is that a word?) bethrothed. It's a tear-jerker. I read it in two evenings. Of course, that second evening was a very late evening!
I am so glad we got to see what happened with him (I wasn't sure we would ever know). When I picked up this story and started reading it I didn't put it down until the tears blurred my vision to the point I couldn't read, then I had to put the book down. I enjoyed this story even with the sadness that was put in it.

Something I randomly pulled off the romance shelf. A fun, cheesy, quick, and fluffy read. Perfect for taking to the beach.
Really sweet. I loved watching them slowly fall in love. I just felt so bad at how tormented Tory was by her feelings. And I was touched by how patient Chance was with her. Plus, the babies were great.
I was drawn in by the adult characters Chance and Tory. I continued to read because of the well written storyline. NftMt played with my emotions and I shed some tears, too.

This is a very heart warming & sad story. Some parts of the story made my eyes watery. I thought the babies were adorable. I thought Chance & Tory completed each other.

I was going to ignore this one based on the title and cover, but then I read the blurb and now I'm intrigued.

Good morning! It's a beautiful sunny beginning to the day here in Western, Pennsylvania. I'm working on my 54th book. 54th! I'm very excited about that.

I've written some fun things ... those are the Silhouette Romance titles. I especially liked SNOWBOUND BABY which was book 3 of the Bryant Baby Bonanza series which also included BABY BEFORE BUSINESS and PRINCE BABY. But my favorites for Silhouette
