THE OTHER MAN IN HER LIFE... He was her late husband's best friend, the man she'd been warned to avoid-the man she'd always found irresistible. Now he was back, unavoidable and attractive as ever.

Renae Sanchez, after years of grieving what was not to be, had finally put her life back together again. She had her adorable twins, her job, her friends. It was enough-it had to

It was an interesting concept for a book -- the lead character, Renae, is a young widow with 6 1/2 year old twins. Renae's husband died before the twins were born. Currently her family consists of the twins and her mother-in-law, Lucy. Rene and Lucy have a very close relationship, live together and are raising the twins together since Renae is a single working mom. Enter the love interest, Evan, who happens to be a friend of Renae's deceased husband and also the man that Lucy holds responsible f ...more
Good book. I liked Renae. She had made a good life for herself and her kids after her husband's death, even keeping a good relationship with her mother-in-law who lived with them. She was, however, stuck in a rut. She didn't really date, and her life revolved mostly around her family. When Evan came back into her life she wasn't quite sure what to do. He and his business partner, Tate, had set up a scholarship in her husband's name. They wanted her help in running the program, and asked her to m ...more
I love books that have characters with past connections to each other. It’s what keeps me buying Harlequin/Silhouette books.

This book was no exception. Evan & Renae were friends who were attracted to each other in the past. Evan had his chance to declare his feelings and get the girl but he choked so she ended up with his best friend.

I actually felt bad for Evan. After Jason died, Jason’s mother treated Evan horribly because she blamed him for the accident. I can understand her feelings, b
Maybe I've become somewhat jaded in reading as many novels as I have. I find that the newer novels, such as this book, aren't as good s the older ones. This book was sweet and nice to read but I felt absolutely no emotional contentment with the novel. I found it to be typical and somewhat boring. It was well written and the storyline was good. However it could of been better, there could of been angst. It just seemed to flow too well.
Really enjoyed this love story well-written loved the characters of Evan Daughherty was Renae Sanchez late husbands best friend he was back in her life all though she was warned to avoid him, Renae had her job also her adorable twins to look after but she wanted & needed Evan in her life too,
Really loved this. Also loved reading about familiar characters from Husband for a Weekend. Highly recommend both books. So well written and some stellar characterization.
His Best Friend's Wife/ Gina Wilkins
Entertaining read, a romance with enough obstacles that the characters must show character to work it all out.

This was very enjoyable. Started slow for me, but picked up as it went along. A winner!
