Returning to Castle MacPherson was definitely not FBI profiler Duncan Sutherland's choice. There's no guarantee he'll be able to keep his hands off her….Little does Duncan guess that Piper has always wanted him, too. I ...more

A suspense-filled contemporary romance! Taken from my review at

Over two centuries ago, Eleanor Campbell had run off with Angus MacPherson, the man she loved, escaping from the engagement party in which she had been betrothed to another man. Was a fun and fast read. I particularly liked the fact that it was set in the Adirondacks, a spot just a half hour ride from my home. Had chemistry, mystery and a sprinkle of magic.

Fast read. Interesting story. A bit implausible at parts, but entertaining. Written very well and good voice.
Good continuation of the series. Multiple mysteries to solve. Good interaction between characters. Love Alba.
I hope there will be a third in the series, although there was no teaser at the end...
Ok, but so many characters, I was confused as to who was who. Nice love story thought!!
Fun read and part of a cute and interesting series. Glad I read it!
