Ariel is being blackmailed to steal some objects from Cameron Drake. The life of her brother depends on her success. Cameron is a shapeshifter who can turn into a dragon. When Ariel breaks into his place, he catches Ariel but she gets away but without the objects she needs to steal. She then goes to apply for a job at Cameron's resort where he recognizes her. He recognizes that she could be his mate but does not trust her and is trying to figure out what game she is playing.
I enjoyed this book. It is a fast paced, action filled story. Our hero Cameron Drake, unknown to his family, is shape shifting dragon. In a family of wizards this is not a common thing. Our heroine is Ariel Johnson.
Ariel is caught in the basement of the ancestral home. She is being forced to steal a dragon pendant. Cam catches her in his dragon form. She runs away saying to herself that there are no such things as dragons. Little does she know that she is a dragon too and Cam's mate.

Absolutely loved this book!!! I could not put it down. Read the first chapter a while ago. Wasn't able to pick it back up until bout 9:30 last night, & I stayed up all night & read it. Literally just finished it, from chapter 2 to the end in one sitting.
