Shelves: childrens
In this Ziggy story, the boys adopt an orphaned deer. Missing Draper's historical insight but entertaining for children nonetheless.

My prediction about the boys being too over confident about taking care of the deer was correct because when they had the backyard show it got way too crazy when there were dogs, cats, hamsters, gerbils, snakes and birds running, flying and slithering everywhere INSIDE the house.
