The first and last time I read a Chicken Soup for the Soul series was around 8 years ago (Teenage Soul). I always wanted to purchase another but was deterred by the expensive price. Thank goodness I bought this at the Big Bad Wolf sale. The book provided several anecdotes that succeeded in producing a range of emotions - I laughed at some of the stories, reread beautiful quotes and wise sayings, and identified with some of the haphazard real-life characters. Wow. I can't believe it took me that long to finish this one.

Ok, so I'm not married. I'm not even in a relationship. I picked this book up only because I don't have anything else to read so I sneaked into my sister's bedroom (who is newly married, btw) and stole her book. She hasn't even read this book but here I am, giving it a go before my married sister does.

It took me some time to complete this book compared to Chicken Soup for Couples. I find some of the stories a bit boring and slow.
