What a great book about two people who come to a bar with friends, clearly reluctant to be there with sadness in their eyes and sharing a taxi ends up with both of them breaking their celibacy and bringing a little smile to their faces.

Their next meet is awkward because as it turns out the hero Max, is the very good lawyer who will save the heroine's career. She is a neurosurgeon who despite being cleared of all negligence is being taken to court by the parent's of a dead patient so to say she h
Unique, inventive story....4.5 stars. great fun to read about heroine as a successful professional who is warm and sincere rather than the usual portrayal of an intelligent woman as brittle, cold person who had to fight her way to the top. I loved how her nature and caring towards others illustrated that she didn't just have a career, but rather had a true calling. Also loved how hero was a decent, honorable guy, who was capable of controlling himself when ethics required it (ethical HP heroes c ...more

She's being sued when she did her best at the hospital, she miscarried her baby and her ex Tom left her to marry a woman he was cheating on her with. Naughty and Nice with lots of Spice!
OMG! I loved Innocent 'til Proven Otherwise…this book was sensational.

Amy Andrews has written a beautifully sexy angst free romance with two great characters; I loved Ali she is feisty & adorable, Max with his die hard focus was too die for sexy.

The sexual tension and attraction between Ali and Max burnt up the pages of this book. The dialogues were witty and funny with tons of laugh out moments - I don’t want to say

I really could have used an epilogue for this one. There seemed to many things left undecided for it to end so quicky after the "I love you".

The one time Ali decides to cut loose and have a one-night stand, she discovers that it was with the handsome lawyer who is defending her in court! Ali desperately needs to win this malpractice case and having an affair with her lawyer just won't do. As for Max Sherrington, he knows the consequences of having an affair with a client. Unfortunately, their libidos aren't listening! It's a very long trial............

This is a quick read that actually has substance to it.

I loved this book!!!! The author crafted a super clever opening scene. I have been in a similar situation many time my self, alas without the handsome friend. And the hero and heroine's next encounter in the second scene knocked the story out of the park! Plus, the car scene was very hot!

Fantastic book! I love the sexual tension in this book. I love the fantastic dialogue which often in M&Bs can be trite and tried yet in this book it flowed beautifully. I loved the story and its twists. Loved it!

I really like Amy Andrew's medical HMB however I'm so glad she's writing for the Sexy line. This is a fab read, hot, steamy and great banter. I just loved Ali and Max and how they came together.

It was an ok book but it could've been even better if a baby was on its way between the two.
