I love R.J. Ellory's books so it was great to get a new short story from him, looking forward to the next part in April.
This is part one of a short story trilogy set in late 1950's Chicago. The trilogy is made up three different perspectives on the murder of a young woman - that of her sister, then that of the cop who charged the accused and then finally that of the killer himself. In this first part the sister looks back on the events as she sees them and muses on her emotions whilst she is sits and waits for the killer to be executed in the electric chair.
I love all of his books and enjoyed this as well, looking forward to the other two parts, already have them pre ordered for my kindle, cany wait.
Excellent, tautly written 100 pages + well set up for next two parts...

Roger began his first novel on November 4th, 1987 and did not stop, except for three days when he was going through a divorce from his first wife, until July of 1993.
