Shouldn't list this as "read" as I couldn't finish, and that almost never happens. I felt it just dragged. Love Breslin, too.
First chapter is great. Writing is locally very good but globally disjointed (yeah, yeah life is random, but a book about it shouldnt be). Knows what he writes about: he himself is Queens, Irish, and all that means. 3.5 stars.

Jimmy Breslin is a Pulitzer Prize-winning American columnist and author. He has written numerous novels, and pieces of his have appeared regularly in various newspapers in his hometown of New York City. He was a regular columnist for the newspaper Newsday until his retirement on November 2, 2004, and still has occasional columns there.
