Me gusto la historia, aunque me parece que está mal ambientado el libro, considerando que es un libro histórico. Es difícil sentirse transportado al pasado, como si ocurre con otros libros.
Kind of felt like high school with all the friends and gossip involved. Not much heat but a sweet romantic tale.

I adored this book. I could not put it down. It's captivating, witty and the characters are all completely lovable. You can't help but love watching as Roberts and Alyssums relationship develops from childhood anitics to a passionate love affair with all the fun of discovery in between. I am eagerly anticipating the next books in the series to see who will fall in love with whom and just what kind of mischief and scandal all these wonderful characters will get themselves into.
