Love the series and appreciate the author taking the time to write freebie side stories.
But...yeah. I was unimpressed with this one. It was basically a short little sex romp with Nora...I feel like I could have just skipped it and not missed anything.

I loved this little story of Nora with her little red riding crop and the Big Brad Wolf. Once again Tiffacy Reisz tells an amazing story spun off a children's fairy tail - but this version is not rated G.

More of the same. Everyone loves Nora and so why miss an opportunity to indulge in your inner slut? I only say that because Nora, IMO is a literary cliche. A trope.
She's pretty much in a love triangle (in the overall series) and everyone who meets her falls in love with her and everyone she meets she either wants to have sex with or does.

Little Red Riding Crop is a free short story that can be downloaded from Tiffany Reisz's website. Although this is a prequel to her debut novel The Siren and can be read before the book I'd recommend reading the novel first so you already have a feel for the characters. As you can probably tell by the title the story is a bit of a play on Little Red Riding Hood and I certainly want to know more about Big Brad Wolfe!

This thirty-two page short story introduces the Big Brad Wolf, a character we'll meet again in The Angel (and I suspect in other future books). The sexy liaison gives a quick pulse on what Nora's been up to before The Siren, as well as a glimpse at her indomitable attitude despite her submissive position. I will hold my hands up and admit I don't normally read erotica, but a bet was laid before me by @Geek_Queen_Gem and I took it. I agreed to read this if she would read Dreams by Dani Sacerdoti.
Luckily this novella was quite short at 32 pages so I didn't have to blush for too long. To be honest, I found the tale quite amusing - I have never ever come across submissives and dominants before, a whole new world laid before me.

Oh, yes, it is ANOTHER Tiffany book. Only with this one, she kicked me right where it counted by giving me the luscious Master, Big Brad Wolfe!

I already concluded the Tiffany Reisz is not for me after reading The Gift but I wanted to give her another shot. You can not judge an author based on one short story... So I read Little Red Riding Crop too.
After two short stories, my conclusion is that her style is too dark and gritty for my taste. I like my romance novels to evoke smiles & hope and to leave realism to other genres of book.

This was unexpected and highly arousing. Where do I find this Black Forest? And I'd love to have the Big Brad Wolfe eat me. Mmm hmmm. This is a tasty free morsel from the talented Ms. Reisz.
