Shelves: fiction
En störd, underhållande, sjuk, hallucinogen, skrämmande roman. Baksidestexten talar om en drömlik atmostfär - sant, den sortens dröm som växlar mellan inte så mycket dröm och verklighet som dröm och mardröm.

Om jag har någon egentlig kritik är det att baksidestexten alldeles missar att nämna en central gestalt i boken: Disas dotter Elsa. Hon som blir påkörd och dör (och det vore inte att avslöja för mycket, hon dyker upp mycket tidigt i historien)!

2.5 kanske. superkonstig, lite som en psykos och ibland inte så bra. känns lite som jag missade poängen?

I believe this was the first novel I've read by an Icelandic author. Solid with some good parts and some parts less good.

Born in Reykjavík in 1978 and raised in Ísafjörður (in the northwest of Iceland (in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean (which covers a sizable portion of the globe))).
