I’m on the fence with this one. It’s one of those stores that were lukewarm. None of the characters ever ignited the pages for me, even though they were likeable enough. However, the heroine got on my last never and just about made the TSTL List even though she was a brilliant scientist!
Honestly, I wasn’t quite sure what this Cloak Warrior and Demon of Fear world/feud consisted of until halfway through the book and everything finally clicked into place. It grew to be quite aggravating.

Lover Uncloaked was a wonderful surprise. Having read most of Folsom's vampire books (Scanguards vampires), I didn't know what to expect from this new series. After all, there weren't any vampires in it. But the hot immortals and the powerful villain give any vampire a run for his money. So this book took me on an adventure! The action begins right away, along with the story. It doesn’t take long before you get a sense of who the characters are, and even the world is pretty easy to understand. Aiden begrudgingly takes this next assignment to protect an important scientist, despite a growing sense of futility, and finds more than he bargains for in the feisty, intelligent Leila. I liked the storyline, the characters,plot and would like to read more about the cloak warriors. But it had too much sex talk and scenes that I skipped over.
The Cloak Warriors protect the humans from demons. If the demons gain more power by getting controll of more human souls they can rise and cost the world more trouble. The Warriors can be invisible when they want and cloak other people so the demons can't find them. They can even walk through walls.

Tina Folsom is one of those authors that you have to read, no question about it. She is up there with the likes of J.R. Ward and Lara Adrian for me. A seriously great read, though I would expect nothing less. I could not stop reading this; I just loved it from start to finish. I could not finish this book. I really really wanted to like it but I just couldn’t get into it. I got maybe 60% of the way through and I just gave up. I hate giving up on a book, but there are so many great books out right now that I couldn’t justify the time I was spending on this book when I wasn't truly invested.

Aidan is sexy, tortured, determined, and raw. Just my kind of hero. Leila is smart, but also reasonable. She's not one of those heroines who constantly makes stupid decisions, nor does she kick butt just by staring the bad guys down. Aside from the fact that she's a brilliant scientist, she's realistic and reasonable, grounded and believable.

Loved this book!!! Cloaked Warriors are immortals their purpose is to protect humans from the demons of fear. Leila, a medical researcher, has worked to find a cure for Alzheimer’s and is in the testing phase with a drug that seems to work. Here is my take on this book....I ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT!! I can't explain how great the writing in this story is. The way Ms. Folsom describes everything just seems so real. The fights, the feelings and the passion. You know how sometimes you read books and the writing just makes you go "Is that even possible?" or "wait, what? I don't get it". I liked this book but it took me a while to get into. I can't even pinpoint why it didn't grab me right away so it very easily could have been my state of mind or that I was having an off couple of days. I'm totally willing to shoulder the burden on this one. Totally.

FINALLY DONE!!! Almost a whole month just to finish this book. I blame my schooling that held me back and slowed me down. Now back to saying how I feel of this book.

I'm not thrilled by this book but it sets up a promising new series. Just didn't feel the chemistry and emotional bond between the central figures. Certain aspects that make the Immortal Cloak Warriors are weak in concept and don't really work. Definitely didn't like the conclusion of this book but liked the epilogue enough to read the next book when it comes out.

I give this one almost 4 stars (I decided to round up).
Good start to a new series. Aiden and Leila are a good pair although, they both irritated me at times. She is very whinny at times and and he is a jacka** at times. But overall its a good story, and when we finially got to the steamy sceens, they were very good. I hope Hamish gets a book next. I will definately be reading more. Also looking forward to Oliver's story in the Scanguards series.

I found the first chapter a bit a slow start but once I reached the second chapter the storyline started to get a little interesting and but the forth chapter I couldn't put in down. I purchased this while I was at work in the morning and I continued reading it throughout my work day. I really enjoyed this book. A very fine read.
I can always count on Tina Folsom for an entertaining, thrilling and steamy read. It was an intriguing take on demons and immortal warriors. I can't wait to read more about these Stealth Guardians. I would definitely recommend this read to all paranormal romance fans.
This is a good first book to a sci-fi romance series. The world building is very imaginative and kept my attention and the romance is sexy but not erotic which I thought fit the story. The plot moves quickly and didn't bore me. Fans of this author's Scanguard series will like this one as well and new fans should hop on this series now!

Despite the obvious attraction between Aiden and Leila, they both had reservations regarding the relationship harbored by the unfolding events developing in this world of Demons and Immortal Cloak Warriors.
There is a good cast of characters with great camaraderie between the Cloak Warriors all of whom I look forward to getting to know a little better, especially Manus.......I think he is the cheeky chappie amongst them!!!!
