Good quick read, like the other 7 I the series, but this one left out a peice of information. It talked about using pain to escape pain but never told the reader what the original pain was.
There is no doubt that a reader can find just about any kind of kink that exists in romance fiction, and that BDSM stories highlight a wide variety of practices, all of which are perfectly normal, if you can use such a word about kink. This author has added to her very popular Club Esoterica series with this new novella about a woman who is seeking some kind of release for the pressures and inner distress that goes way back to her abused childhood, one that she keeps under lock and key and seeks ...more

This one should be read with your flame proof suit on-hot, hot, hot.

Blaze is known as a pain slut at Club Esoterica-but pain doesn’t provide her the relief she needs. Club owner Taurus finds a Dom who prefers other methods than pain to bring a sub to satisfaction and tells Blaze she must scene with him or leave the club.

Can Blaze find happiness with a Dom who uses ropes and attitude to bring a sub pleasure? This novella answers that question with several
Yes, I admit it. I am a total sucker for Club Esoteria books. The doms are perfect, the subs are perfect - normally an annoyance but I expect it in these books. I had to smile at the fact that Blaze ended up with a fireman. Perfect match.

I just wish the author had touched more on WHY Blaze needed or thought she needed the pain. She was a bit too easily converted. Oh well... LOL.

This was just the right amount of holiday fluff to make me happy.

What a change for Blaze from hard to soft. Way to tell a great story.

Hot Damn, 18 + read. Cooper McKenzie really knows how to get the blood flowing. Ok, Blaze is the female lead character :) She desires physical pain to try to help her mental pain, but she soon learns there are other ways to find what she needs :) Main male character steps in to tame her :) Grrrr, yum, hot fireman who enjoys BDSM :D God help us all :D Woot, you must read this book :D

hot quick read. good storyline.

I always thought I had been born a hundred years too late, but I do appreciate air conditioning, computers and other conveniences of modern day living. I love the slower pace of New Bern, North Carolina as well as the history and small town community. Imagine a neighborhood where people wave at one another and keep eye out for the children. It's like living in the 1950s. In addition to dreaming up ...more
