Sometimes the question being asked, might not be the one that actually needs to be answered.

When twenty-two year old Tom asks his older, conservative lover Isaac for an afternoon of kinky sex, that experience turns out to include much more than bondage, adult toys and spanking.

The line between kinky sex and actual D/s may be clear in theory, and most people would know where they fall, but admitting your needs to yourself and actually going through asking someone else to help you fulfill them are two separate concepts. This story deals with two men who embark on a journey that requires a level of trust beyond that of most relationships.

Tom is the younger of the two, he initiates the ‘kinkier play’, and yet he worries that it will be too much for his lover of two years....more

Facing the Truth is a very beautifully written story of two men in a long term committed relationship, taking whatever steps necessary To fulfill the needs of their partner.
I am a Hopeless romantic at heart .There is nothing I like much better than a romance that has two people so madly in love with each other that they would do anything the other needs. (Well perhaps a really good chocolate).
This story is about 39 year old Isaac Newhouse and his much younger (18 years) Tommy.

Originally written for MM Good Book Reviews.

Isaac is almost twenty years older than his lover, Tom. They've been together for two years and Isaac still can't believe that this beautiful younger man loves him. During a weekend playtime, both men realize that mingled in with their mutual love and respect is a deep need for something darker.

This was an interesting book. It’s not often you are given an opportunity to peek into the beginning of a D/s relationship. Tom recognizes his own submissive na...more

This review was written for BDSM Book Reviews.

Tom and Isaac have been together for a couple of years. It’s a May – December romance, with Tom in his early twenties and Isaac pushing forty. It was Tom who pursued Isaac, but the older man would do almost anything to please his lover. Isaac isn’t particularly adventurous in the bedroom. For him, having a hot young boyfriend is more than he ever dreamed about. So when Tom asks Isaac to dominate him one weekend, Isaac has misgivings. He’s never had a...more

Excellent story about the start of a D/S relationship. The two men are already in an established relationship and their love for each other really shines in the story. I love both characters and hope the author will write more about them. Despite not being a long story, it is in-depth, with the issues, including the emotional ones, dealt with. The conversations between the two men felt very real.

I really enjoyed this one. The story of Tom and his older lover Isaac and their journey into Tom's desire to be in a dom/sub relationship. I liked that they had their rules for 'in play' and when not, they were two equal men. The only issue i had was that it was too short, i would have liked to see more how they developed their 2 relationships further.

S. Dora is the me writing m/m erotica, though I can imagine a m/f or f/f story might suddenly decide they want to get written too, somewhere in the future. The real me is also writing: novels and stories that don’t revolve around the down and dirty.

And the non-writing me? Is it interesting to know I’m a woman, born in 1961? That my wife and I celebrate our 30th anniversary in October 2011? That w...more
