I recently read Sal Gilbertie's book Small Plot, High-Yield Gardening, and decided that I need to own it - the library book has already become my go-to book for kitchen garden questions. Same thing is true of Herb Gardening from the Ground Up. I need to buy it. Gilbertie's style is down-to-earth, and interesting without being wordy or vague. The diagrams and pictures are practical and helpful. The layout is clean and clear. Perfect.
