I bought this book after a childhood friend of mine recommended that I read it.(The author is a friend of hers) So I decided I would give it a shot and help out a new author by writing a review.

Deadline by debut author Judy McDonough is a great story. The contrast of the main character when she was with her fiancee versus the better new guy, Cade is great. And it has you rooting for Caroline to dump her fiancee in favor of Cade. I cannot wait to see what new adventures are in store for Caroline in future books.
I couldn't wait to read this book. When I started reading it, I couldn't put it down. I was on the edge of my seat the entire time, anticipating what would happen next. I hope the sequel comes along quickly, I can't wait to find out what Caroline & Cade are up to next.
This book is very well written. You cringe when the heroine does something embarrassing! It has several points of view, which are interesting, and a great plot!
One of the best books I have read in a very long time. Couldn't put it down and I can't wait for book #2!
Really enjoyed this book. I'm hoping the next one will be just as good!
