The Call of the Soul is book 2 in the White Wolf series, however it takes place before bk 1 White Wolf

I was intrigued by Melanie in White Wolf, she is the sister of Sheriff Gray White and was glad to hear that Ms. Carlo went back and gave us Melanie and Mike's story.

Mike returns to Chabegawn to claim his mate, Melanie, little does she know she is his mate. Melanie had a major crush on Mike in high school, but never acted on it. She is 100% determined to figh
I liked this book better then the first in the series even though it takes place before White Wolf. I am a little confused by it cause there were a ton of characters and lots of over lapping and I still don't know if I understand the reasoning behind the murders. The sex was hot and plentiful. Hopefully Drake will get a book of his own cause after the grief he gave Mike you just know he's going to have a real fun time finding his own mate.

Another great book! Can't wait to read Susie's story next. Lots of intrigue...almost too much. It isn't a mystery you can fully solve ahead of the book. I really liked Melanie and Mike!

Award winning, author Jianne Carlo’s motto is simple: Alpha Me Please.

While strong heroines, exotic locations, and cultural differences are her forte, she goes weak in the knees for warriors of any type, rebels, SEAls, Vikings, and bad-ass mercenaries. Send her a man with an attitude and she’ll find the right woman to tame him.

Nothing makes Jianne’s day more than an email from someone who’s read
