If you like your heroes and heroines physically perfect, then you will like this book. The heroine is a golden beauty and men constantly try to get close to her. The hero is a (stereotypical) dark, sexy, and rich playboy with a secret. The only benefit that this adds to the story is that it creates a constant threat to the relationship between our heroine and hero from other characters flirting with each of them.

Several things detracted from the story. We are never told where Ellie and Drew are

Ellie's on her way to a last minute assignment as a headlining dancer on a cruise ship. En route with her is Andy, replacement for the incompetent cruise director. Sparks fly instantly. But Andy's not just some schmoe. Andy is actually one of the owners of the cruise line, onboard incognito. As Ellie dances around her attraction for Andy and Andy sidesteps the truth about his real identity, the heat gets hotter. When Ellie discovers that her romantic cruise director is actually a millionaire pla ...more

Andy and Ellie are two believable characters that spring to life in this well-written romance. When they are thrown together on the same cruise ship in New Zealand as employees--not vacationers--sparks soon fly. Meanwhile Andy has secrets he must keep, and Ellie becomes certain he's attracted to another show girl, much too long after she's fallen hard for Andy. As one layer of the plot unfolds on the next, the reader is held spellbound, eager to learn how the conflicts will be solved. This is a ...more

It's a great plot and all, but the writing. I just couldn't read it anymore, it's terribly written. There's too many ! points, and I feel as if there wasn't much depth. I couldn't manage through the last 3-4 chapters because of the writing, and I just got too sick of it. The plot is so predictable as well, ugh. The characters are pretty flat as well, and the third-person point of view got a bit boring..

This book has an interesting story and I enjoyed it. I think it might have benefited from a little more polishing. The story is sweet and good for when you need something a slightly light, because there are some slightly serious undertones.
