A Review of "Seven Deadly Sins"
This one was an intrigue for me, from the start. I must say I was in love with the idea of "Adult Fables" and the Seven Deadly Sins delivered! This was definitely one of those books that is hard to put down. All of the stories were well written, Character love was almost immediate with all 7. Where it pertains to the Sins, self evaluation will be imminent. Each author has succeeded in making you think and left you considering the fine line we each walk, daily.

Tymothy Longoria is a literary genius... I have yet to make it to the other Six Deadly Sins, because as soon as I downloaded this to my Kindle I might've searched the contents for his story 'ENVY' and I might've devoured it.
ENVY left me speechless- as everything I've read by Tymothy Longoria has. His words are beyond amazing... His penchant for storytelling is UNPARALLELED. I have nothing to compare this to, because I have NEVER read anything with such lyrical intensity and inspiring beauty.

This has got to be one of the best anthologies I've ever read. The concept was great: 7 authors, 7 sins. From the very first page I was impressed by the depth and originality of every story, and it started with a terrific forward that really set the stage and tone for what was to come. I enjoyed every single story, and though they were all centered around a common theme, each were strikingly unique.

Seven Deadly Sins simply blew me away. The book- these stories each hold so much depth within the sin, yet each of the stories will leave you with an Ah-ha lesson learned at the end.
This is truly an adult version of fables. I also love the way the "sins" follow perfectly with the meanings of the religious aspect without overpowering religion or faith. They really make you think as an everyday sort of sinner.
This isn't a normal set genre anthology. There is something in here for everyone. From...more

Seven Deadly Sins is the best anthology I've read.
My favorites, Wrath and Envy, made me gasp and yell "OMG" in the confines of my living room. Tightening my grip on my smart phone as I read, I was in awe of the depth of these characters, the finely tuned styles of writing, and of these authors' gifts for storytelling. Mike, of Wrath - I felt for him, like, really. In the same moment that I might be appalled from the outside at his behavior and his actions, I was drowning in his emotions and felt...more
