Diane Dooley has packed a lot of romance in a 31 page short story. Mako needs to capture Vin Sainte and collect his bounty to pay off her debt and free her mother. She had spent the last 9 month tracking Vin. She thinks she has him cornered at Madame Eve’s exclusive 1 Night Stand dating agency. But of course nothing is quite what it seems.

Live the whole 1NightStand series! Every story packs a whallop! Not just about the sex, there is a really interesting story wrapped around the steam.
This story was very sensual. And I an quite sure I have never heard a prayer like that before! Yummilicious to the nth power!!!

This excellent story hooked me until the end. The characters were fun and played off each other well. I really liked Vin and loved the ending. The worldbuilding had depth that left me wishing I could read more in this world. I particularly liked how realistically Ms. Dooley portrayed the pitfalls of the true spacer when planetside. The Romance was hot, fun and very satisfying.
FUN sci fi novelette with a funny, delightful heroine in Mako the Shark and a charming, unexpected hero in Vin "The Saint" Sainte. Solid, unique world-building for such a short story, and amusing and steamy romance.

I absolutely loved this story! Not only are the characters extremely well developed in such a short story, but Diane Dooley manages to illustrate exactly what a "spacer" would experience when visiting Earth for the first time. I highly recommend this 1Night Stand story.
I'm usually into longer books. But this was fun, unexpected, and went well with a cup of hot tea and Dove dark chocolate!
